The League 2 section has been renamed this morning 'The Rob Dunkley League Two Forum' as a tribute to our late friend 'HertsCobbler' aka Rob Dunkley who sadly passed away at the tender age of 35 out of the blue earlier this week.

After discussing this 'back stage' with Admin and Mods we thought it to be a fitting tribute to Herts with his much beloved Northampton currently sitting in League Two. Herts was a mod on the old TFF and was a huge contributor to our new forum.

Rob had many friends from this website, of whom he had met, shared drinks and had a laugh with. I hadn't personally met him away from 1FF but everyone and anyone who had suggested that he was a very down to earth, a nice family man who had a deep love and passion for Northampton Town.

RIP Herts
You shall be missed by all.
We will all have something to keep you in our memories - (no matter how big or small)

Admin.

What a lovely gesture.

Going to be weird at the match today not seeing him circling the bar talking to anyone and everyone. We've got an in game tribute and a tribute to him in the match day programme too. He really did touch a lot of people and will be a severe loss to the football family, and I'll be raising a glass to him today.

RIP Rob

A lovely gesture by the Administrators and Mods. My thoughts are with Rob and his family at this sad time. I'm sure today he has the best seat in the house. RIP

Holy shit that's awful. This is the first I know about it. Never met him but used to chat a fair bit on TFF as we were both L1 mods a few years back. Horrible news :(

Rob would be unbelievably proud of you doing this. Rob and I spent his last evening together celebrating our win over Luton. How we had bragging rights over all of our Luton supporting mates now. Cloud 9? No we were much happier than that!
RIP Rob
