We've signed Francois Zoko until January.

Paris Cowan-Hall signs on loan till Jan. Seems to have been injured a fair bit, but did well at Wycombe I understand?

He was brilliant against us last season - looks a good signing to me.

Really pleased with the Cowan hall signing and the news that bodin has signed up till the end of the season. I hope we see him on Tuesday .

He does get injured a lot mate, little niggling ones that take him ages to recover from. Means i'll be seeing him at The Mem next week,he'll bloody score if he's fit.

Decent player but made of glass. Hasn't yet managed a game where he hasn't had to go off injured and subsequently miss a few months.

Cheers all.

Sounds like if we can keep him fit we have an asset at this level. We've had plenty of those in the past fail, so very low expectations for Cowan-Hall :D

We've signed a young midfielder on loan from Reading called Jack Stacey. Seems to be quite highly rated, but has suffered some injuries which slowed down his progress this year.

Keith Curle signs a new contract until 2018, great news. Must've been promised he'd be given some money to spend from the player sales/Liverpool game, he had seemed to be saying that's what he wanted if he was to sign the contract.

Curle with money is bad.

He's done well so far for us to be fair to him, paid a small sum for Charlie Wyke and that probably saved us from relegation but besides that he's only got free transfers. I think he said he's got two transfer targets for January but we're doing alright at the moment so there certainly won't be any frantic sales which will hopefully mean no flops. It seems like Lee Dykes does most of the donkey work in terms of signing players now, not sure if he was with Curle when you had him but even if he was I can't imagine he was nearly as influential as he is now on the ins and outs.

Name doesn't ring a bell. Curle was brilliant for us, a proper revelation, until his success persuaded us to give him a massive budget, with which he preceded to sign an absolute array of shite.

Cameron Gayle, right back "on loan" from Oxford with a view to something permanent, scored on his debut for the U's and looked just what was needed going forward - although the 2 Shrimps goals game from crosses down the left wing whilst he was elsewhere.

Things just keep getting better don't they! That carries him through to January where he could potentially sign on permanently?

Dykes did an interview recently in the News and Star... it was at Notts where Curle first came across him, but he was just a junior scout. Curle was impressed by his reports and remembered him and when he found out Carlisle didn't have a scouting system he went back to Dykes to offer him the position of head of recruitment. Curle credits Dykes with spotting Jabo's potential as a main goalscorer.

Courtney Meppen Walter leaves by mutual consent.
Another good move by us, he's not played a game this season and I think he might've had a bit of a negative attitude.

I'm sure Big Dave will be delighted.

Couple of loan deadline day signings by us - both until Jan 16th.
Jordan Evans of Fulham - Left-sided defender/midfield. Cover for our skipper Jake Wright who is out with a back injury.
Also signed Chris Maguire from Rotherham as cover for Ryan Taylor who is also out injured.

Shame that, a lad with a lot of potential and I just wonder what affect things in his life have had on his mental health.

Wycombe have signed 2 midfielders on loan from Brentford - 18 year old James Ferry and 20 year old Jermaine Udumaga.

Mixed feelings about Meppen-Walter leaving.

On one hand I'm glad, he needed to go to get games, but on the other hand it's a waste... he's a great talent and has all the ability to play at championship level at least, but as Curle says on the website, ability wise he wasn't an issue, there's other things wrong.

If someone can get his mind right, get him to conduct himself professionally and apply the right attitude, they'll have a hell of a player at just 21.
