I'm sure we had him on loan for a short period and if it's him he was quite decent, though needed to bulk up a bit so he can handle the centre forward brutes in the lower leagues

Wins a lot in the air. Alright with the ball at his feet but is absolutely horrible to watch when a pacy winger or striker runs at him. I remember him getting torn to shreds by Kevin Lisbie down at Leyton Orient. Scores the odd goal too.

Not by us. We signed Jake Carroll to replace him and modified our recruitment approach when we realised what Derry had done.

Adams did well for us on loan the season before last. Steady left back and never put a foot wrong really.

Loved Blair Adams for us, was really good. There was a time i'd have kept him over Benning. Probably better going forward than defending.

Should be decent enough in the Conference i would've thought.

That's an understatement. Try no excitement whatsoever.

Our form in the second half of last season was that of a team in a relegation battle. We needed to strengthen this summer and so far we haven't and if anything we're going to be scraping the barrel for the shite that no one else wants, thus making us weaker for the season ahead.

It's worrying times for us and at the moment I can't see anything but a relegation scrap ahead of us.

We're all expecting him to sign here because the Knotts and Cowleys are family friends, but he's apparently on silly wages at Gills. There was also a mumbling that he's reluctant to move this far north permanently.

We used him in a 4-4-2 and didn't see the best of him. Obviously a decent player but looked like he'd be better suited to a midfield three or a number 10. We just couldn't fit him in either of those positions last season because we played 4-4-2 and Rhead.

It wasn't until you actually looked properly at his contributions you realised he stepped up for us in the final 5 games or so with a winning goal and assists.

Was grossly unfit when he started but latter part of his loan he looked decent. Not sure our formation helped him but many at Lincoln want him to come back to SB. He seemed to get on well with DC so we shall see.

I rated him very highly when he was playing at Woking. I thought he would go on and become a Championship regular. Seems that he started to believe his own hype and hadn't pushed on.

Our fans are largely divs. For years our problem has been signing 15 mediocre players every summer which everyone complains about. We're now taking the opposite approach of signing a handful but being happy to pay decent fees to get the right ones and people are still furious. Think ideally we need a couple more than four (and likely will with a couple of loans), but chill lads.

Bang average. Derry wanted him to bomb on to support wingers but he can't run. Also come in when we hadn't won in 8 games and the atmosphere at the Abbey was toxic. There were a few scapegoats and he was included in that and never recovered from it.

He will be decent in the conference.
