And by truth I mean how much the budget really is and not what the club claims (it's always higher, and I think you know what I mean). Also, if I were a Luton fan, with my club having a p.b. that is almost sure to be in the top 3 this year, then I'd look to keep my mouth shut just in case things don't go as planned.

I don't spend as much time talking about it as some. I thought that was what 99% of arguments in non league all about.

It's always a guess, but sometimes it can be an educated one and you won't be too far off the actual figure. That's not taking into account that some players do indeed talk, esp. when they've had a few. Like when they're grumbling about seeking to move to another club because some of their teammates are on much more than they are. Oh my god, the club doesn't appreciate their talents and erm, their hard work and all that

But yeah, for the most part all it takes is just one person who claims that the club's hottest striker is on 1k/per week because his best friends gal is the players personal hairdresser. That 1k quickly becomes 2k, and before you it, the lad's on 5k!

We've had a bid for either Matty Godden or David wheeler turned down. club said one of the leagues top scorers and evans said they might sell if their situation changes so I cant see it being Akinde or Hylton

Our fans think were trying to sign Marquis from doncaster who's rumoured to have turned down a new deal to go to the championship hahahaha he won't come to us.. apparently he's had dinner with our chairman in malta where were having our preseason... don't believe it

If it's Wheeler I can't see how our situation changing would cause us to want to sell. We are trialling Ryan Brunt but even if he signed he's still a totally different player to Wheeler so I'd be surprised if we sold him to a promotion rival.
