Excluding goalkeepers there are more over 30s in Notts team than Wrexhams. Plus Notts have Wunderkind John Bostock
I haven’t checked the stats, no need to, but all your players are now over 50 whether they like it or not.

Rovers sign ex Bradford and Orient left-back Connor Wood. Previously at Orient, Bradford and most recently on loan to Saturdays opponent Colchester. If he starts Saturday will be the sixth player to fill the Rovers left-back spot.

A good player though, better some will say than what we have.

That was 2009, likely to predate the Saudi Pro League.

We had Sol (for that one game) and he was not a soldier.

Great season, smashed it from the opening day as Bradford fans might recall.

Only small problem was it completely ******** up the club for the next decade :eyes::2thumb:

You'd have him every day of the week over Ridehalgh. Having said that, Richards has impressed me so far and looks a good find.

Of course you looked that up.

I believe the main headlines of the Saudi Pro League's transfer activity isn't the age of the players they are signing but the way over the top fees and even moreso wages they are paying the new additions to build their brand. Sound familiar?

No doubt you know the wage structure at Notts too.

And thank **** we have Wunderkind John Bostock , and on very very reasonable wages. Without John we are still #stained this season.

I actually clicked on the article about Sol Campbell and it said he was on 40k per week at Notts, and that’s not one of the guessed wages on here that we all inflate with each post it said in his 4 weeks at Notts he earned 160k and he was on a 4 year contract worth 10M.
I don’t see any Wrexham players on that kind of money.

The more I think of it the more this makes sense. Every single games we've put the ball into the box 20 times and no-one has attacked it. We just need some big ugly bastard to knock over opposition defenders and get their head on it. He doesn't need to run much.

Can the Anti-Notts County do it again?
Hes gonna get a shock when he tries knock aden flint over :box:

No, I have no clue about Notts wage expenditure, they never seem to divulge that information. It's up there though - by all accounts spending about three times more than the majority of NL teams every season you were down there and still failing to get up.

You wouldn't know that though as you didn't seem to follow them in that league.

Armstrong would have been.

We don't know anything regarding the finances of £14m-in-debt Notts County.

You worry if their owners leave. WhAt If ThE oWnErS gEt BoReD?

Well, that's cleared that up then. I don't know what else you would expect from a club getting 3x the attendance of the majority of NL clubs, to be honest.

It's like an ex-PL striker reunion in L2 this season - McGoldrick, Austin, Deeney and now Fletcher - anymore?!

You could have ended that post after the first 9 words. You don't have a clue, maybe stick to telling us the Radford area if Nottingham is near Meadow Lane

Hold on a minute you are now pretending to know how much I did or didn't support them in NL? :brill:

Can we have a Wrexham/Notts County only thread?

Keeping up that very impressive 87% success rate of Bargain Brit Abroad's posts on here being about Notts or me.

He's right thought those two playoff games were very tense and stressful affairs. Thankfully Notts and football won on both occasions last season :2thumb:

Callum Ainley signs, feels like a bit of a gamble that he’ll find his form but it’s a position we needed back up in

As I'm sure has been posted by other Crewe fans before, he lacks consistency, doesn't show up on the scoresheet enough even in his brighter games, is injury prone and doesn't really have a position he shines in.

Hope it works out for him, but keep the expectations low.

Top of the league? You are checking this early? Mental.

But you are right yes, constantly if you remove all posts about Notts, Bradford, Mansfield and Grimsby.

Nailed it D
