Think you could probably do with one more keeper just in case the other 5 get injured.

2 are youth players, one in Craig MacGillivray probably won't be here past August.

Edited Scum's post to add the squad in using the italics for youth trick:

Yep. Only 23 senior players and a couple of young’uns who could do a job. We’re fucked.

He's also going to play in the same position for us.

I think it’s his best position - Luke Williams totally revitalised his career by moving him to wing back. As a winger he was pretty average in the National League, but he’s far more of a threat when he can attack from deeper. He would’ve looked more like a genuine winger that season, I guess, because we dominated games so much that he didn’t have to do much defending.

I think he meant as in Nemane was able to concentrate more on attacking in that role than defending when in the national league.

Yeah for sure, but he did say ‘wasted in our daft shape’. It was the exact same shape we played the year before where he was really good!

I would rather have kept him, but I do think him and Jones as wing backs is bordering on kamikaze madness, and obviously there was only ever going to be one winner if we’re only starting one, so I can see why we’d take the money for him.

More rumours of Tchimanga(?) signing on loan with an option to buy.

He's a good left back, but he's made of glass. Also a walking red card at times as well.

Got a cracking cross on him at times.

I loved him.

He’s now signed till January.

Massively needed with all the injuries we’ve got. At least we now have a left back, although for quite how long I don’t know if he’s made of glass.

Apparently Harper and Charters both just have niggles but we needed another left sided full back anyway so I'm pleased to get Williams in.

Just need another midfielder now. Preferably a creative one who has pace and gets goals.

Such a waste if you're playing Offord in defence

We're set to sign midfielder Kian Breckin from Man City on loan, which would tie in with what LOTP said the other day. We do need midfield options, but it's upfront where we're looking weak right now, so with budget and space left to seemingly add 1 more permanent and a 5th loan slot, that's where I'd be looking next.

Is that a smile or does he need a dump?

He signed the contract, then went and trained, soon realising the shit tip of a team he’d joined. This photo was taken shortly after “what the fuck have I done?”

Am I the only one that thinks Nemane is pretty bang average then? He's superb at running fast in a straight line with the ball admittedly but whenever I've seen him his decision making and delivery has been poor. Classic NL/L2 fast wide man. Anyone with his pace that can play his teammates in or whip a ball in dangerously on the regs is at L1 or above.

That feels like a slightly harsh assessment but I suppose 8 goals and 3 assists in a team that scored 85 goals or whatever it was isn't an incredible output. I do think that the threat of his pace is valuable in itself as it gives others more space and for a team like MK who will probably have lots of the ball in most games I think he'll do well.

Conor Wilkinson Was at our game yesterday which has obviously triggered rumours he's coming back here.

He's better than NL, he's not L1 level for me he's a top half L2 winger or average L2 wing back.

Of course his decision making and final ball are inconsistent that's common for most L2 players especially wingers but he's a threat and his pace scares fullbacks to attack.

Saying that delighted and surprised we got a fee for him.

Signed Olly Sanderson on-loan from Fulham. Had a couple of successful loans at Oxford City over the past 18 months and more recently, was on-loan at Sutton United last season.

Tyler Smith, Vadaine Oliver or Jake Young must be leaving, surely?

Hopefully he can play lwb and centre mid, as in the places we actually need strengthening but tbf you can never have too many 6th choice strikers in on loan.

Again, I can see Young or Oliver leaving.

They won’t be on peanuts, which will enable us to bring in another player - of which I think will be a DM.

I’m more concerned about cover for Smallwood than the possibility of us not bringing in another LWB.

Slightly off-topic but I was impressed with Tyreik Wright at the weekend - and I think Richards is good enough back up.

Just doesn't make any sense at all.
And the welcome video is weird.

Crewe fans what's Connor O'Riordan like? We've just signed him on loan from Blackburn.

It goes without saying that this signals a departure that’s just stating the obvious but other than Smith it’s unlikely he’s better than any of the alternatives he’s replacing, to the extent that which ever striker leaves we probably have enough cover anyway without this signing and still have areas that need addressing as priority.

I’d be gutted to see Tyler Smith leave. He’s the one, for me, who actually offers something different to the current group of strikers we have.

Vadaine Oliver is the one we need desperately need to offload. He’s sitting on a decent wage at the tail end of his career - no one could blame him not wanting to leave.

Should be a great pick up for you. Massive, good in the air and a threat in the opposition penalty area.

Rumours on Twitter that we’re in for Jake Young. Also of Dan Crowley going to Mansfield if they flog DKD.

The riot police will be on standby again if that second thing happens.
