Quietly confident about this one, Lincoln coming off the back of a drubbing. Hoping for a decent crowd with tickets at a tenner a pop.

We had sold over 5,200 home tickets by Friday evening, so we should see a fairly full stadium; still don't know if Forest are bringing their proper team or fringe/youth/reserve players.

With the amount of new signings they have, I would expect it will be all those in need of a game rather than youth

Sold 10 000 thus far for our likely Wednesday night drubbing by Newcastle reserves.
Most, if not all Newcastle reserves should get in any team in this division. Didn't a Newcastle teenager lead Bristol R from the bottom half to auto last year?

First time I've seen Town play Forest, missed the games in the 90s for some reason. That just leaves Manchester United in the current Prem and we haven't played them since 1948. I've seen us beat every other Prem team as well, if you can away goals (Villa). Good omen? Not sure where our goal threat will be though - shame we haven't McAtee for this game - he'd love it.

Would you not have played Forest in the early 00s too, when you were second tier with us

Anyway, County host Leicester tonight, sold out since last week, I shan't be there as I didn't think it'd sell out that quickly. Not that fussed anyway given the way we play like a bunch of strangers at the moment.

We sure did, I remember beating them 4-3 here and Jack Lester terrorised them that day so they went and bought him off us not long after.

If I was the Grimsby ownership I'd just liquidate all assets immediately, no coming back from that zinger.
I’d always hoped that one day we might have that title but now I’ll have to lower my expectations and just hope we can win the Europa League instead.

Get relegated and you qualify for the Europa Conference, at least that's how I guess it works

Blundell Park is sold out for tonight apparently, so it'll be about 7500 then. The owners will still tell us that it holds 9000 next time they're asked though.

Decent. It’ll be one of the higher attendances in round 2.

Fulham at home for us this evening in front of a sold out crowd circa 6k, should be a great atmosphere in front of a non-expectant crowd. Feels like an impossible task on current form unless we can miraculously keep it to 0-0 and do them on pens. Then again, we beat Leeds 3-0 last season and I doubt you would have even got odds for that.
As long as we don't embarrass ourselves like we did on Saturday I'll be happy.

Yes, Elliott Anderson. He is one of the 'kids' we are expected to face tomorrow.

I think Howe might play a relatively strong team, as they have a realistic chance of winning a trophy this season.

First start for Harratt which is the only change from Saturday. No Odusina again.

I’ve done a hopeful Bradford/Bolton double tonight.

Even we've made six changes tonight which makes our game with Brentford little more than a reserve game.

started slowly against Lincoln and 1 down after 7 mins, but since then we've been all over them. David Moyo on his debut equalised after 13 mins and could have had a hat trick. The game could go either way though.

We are getting outclassed to Blackburns baby’s and Dack, lucky it’s only 2-1

Dack is quality to be fair, surprised a lower/midtable Prem side hasn't bought him in one of the last few windows.

Wish they would as we’ve got a hefty sell-on, not going to happen though as unfortunately both his knees are made of cheap biscuits.

We’re giving this a right fucking go second half, once again obvious where our problems lie.
