We'll sell out Burton easy. Plenty are already planning on sitting in the homes ends because of the demand for them.
If that's the case it could be over 6000 crowd. I'd rather split the terrace and give you some of that than be in the home ends risking trouble

Some are planning to go on the side terrace and skoot towards the away end, so it might unofficially turn out like that anyway.

Some of your fans have bought tickets for the home ends when (I assume) there are still tickets for the away end?

Seems a bit stupid.

Why? I can't get a sniff it's season tickets only , 800 left by the sounds and that's before the home game tomorrow.

It's more that people have tickets in place if they can't get in the away end which is fair enough. Looks unlikely it will make general sale and if so it won't be many. Was always gonna be a ball ache anyway, even if we were bottom.

We're at Burton on a Friday night. Probably won't sell out now but shouldn't be far off.

We give 1900. Can't see you bringing that many surely. Perhaps 1300-1500 which would still be very good
I hope the clubs start talking to each other as an initial offer of 1,426 away allocation is derisory, particularly if 2k+ have been given to Coventry and/or the Blades. Demand here will be in the order of 2,000-2,500+. We've already taken 1800+ to Blackpool, 1700+ to Brentford and 1500+ to Shrewsbury on a Tuesday night this year. Yes I know they are not big numbers but Burton away ticks all the boxes for the following reasons:

- Its very very local. To be honest, the Burton ground is nearer to my house than the Bescot.
- Its a Saturday 3pm kick off.
- Terracing!. We just dont get to do it these days and everybody loves it.
- Top of the table clash: No matter how results go in the meantime this is gonna be an important game!
- New ground noveltly for many Walsall fans.
- Heavy away ticket restrictions already imposed by Walsall FC.......the harder it is to get a ticket the more people try!

I've already resigned myself to being in one of the home stands. Many Walsall fans planning to do the same. The home side stand towards the away end is popular so far. It must have been the same when Coventry were there and no problems, so all should be ok.

Yeah I never clocked just how close it is lol, definitely a game where we could take well over 2,000, the same as if Coventry was a saturday fixture.

Poor from Bradford yesterday considering they get 18k at home to only bring just over 600, silent too in the main.

Millwall and Coventry was decent.

Yeh,surprisingly low from Bratfut.
Perhaps the lure of Boslem wasn't enough of a departure from staying in their own home town.

The general feel about the club at the minute amongst fans is the worst it's been under PP's tenure. It's more than I thought would turn up. Shite away day. Shite ground and away end - and we've a poor record down their. Conceeding last minute goals has become a bit of a trait.

Averaging 1,500 away tells you all you need to know about how below par the following was. No need to bring up the home average, really. I know our away average will never been as gods as yours, Bury and Dale etc because we're not above the 10% home to away ratio, but we try.

Yeh,Fail Park has one or two negatives to it,really, aside from the obvious one of the stands facing the pitch.
The rake, certainly in the Hamil,is crap, and the stands are too far from the pitch.
