Southend followings have soon gone back to shitness. Don't expect any more from scunny. The 3k they brought here last year is probably the biggest ever following they've took for a league game.

Lowest for a final replay sunshine, a midweek game with 5 days notice.....was 20K there in a 62K gate. As for the 91 final, travelled down in my mates dads work van, stuck a couple of armchairs and sofa in the back, spent before the game in Leicester square, remember a large portion of the game and being put on a blokes shoulders to see the trophy lifted. 1993, the semi I was sat on your end with my old boy and jumped up when Waddle scored. With the choice of an 8-9 hour round trip on a Tuesday night (and an expected heavy defeat) or a trip to MK on Saturday, most fans have chosen to go to MK not surprisingly.

SUFC twitter says the away figure was 122 not that it makes much of a difference.

I was 21 in 91 and 23 in 93, I can recall both games vividly, over 20k for a midweek replay for 4th trip to Wembley in 6 weeks isn't bad (plus 2 European trips a very expensive year for me) compared to about 28k for a one off weekend playoff final. I can easily remember many Blades telling me how they were going to batter us once more before the semi, I can also recall the relief when we eventually managed to score our second goal at about the 12th good chance we had. I don't recall United creating any other chance than the one they scored from, but recall the Blades fans I worked with crawling back under their stones, not to resurface again until 2000, yes 2000 what did United do that year? Nothing, it was to gloat at Wednesdays relegation, sorry they also resurfaced briefly after both Wednesday cup final defeats. I can remember seeing MY team winning at Wembley and the Millennium, most living Blades fans happiest football moments are seeing their rivals lose at Wembley, quite sad really.

You've won a league cup fair play for that. You've won a league one playoff final fair play for that. That's the highlight this city has to show in 80 years I'd say it's quite sad all round.

I agree mate, have to go back to my grandparents generation ( both long since gone) to have seen anything seen anything other than a league cup victory. Really shit for a city the size of Sheffield, still those memories were amazing. Believe it not I would like some Blades (family and friends) to have those memories too, but then there's the others who just hate Wednesday (yes I know we have em too) who make me think fxxk it, hope you stay where you are and rot. In fairness you seem like one of the decent uns and after all the shite you've no doubt watched deserve some success.

1st season back in the division syndrome for Sarfend last season, they brought more last season on a Friday night than they did this time on a Saturday, last year mighty impressive as are Oxford this time around.

3000+ Latics.

We are an odd bunch. The fact we've been dreadful at home for years plays a massive part in how poor our home attendances are. We've always travelled well away from home, especially when you consider the fact we have had nothing to cheer about for the best part of 25 years and have spent 20 years in this bloody league, and we took 3400 to Dale only two seasons ago.

If we beat Bristol Rovers this Saturday, that'll be 4 wins from 5 games, so we will be quite upbeat heading to Rochdale. All depends on money too for a lot of us as over 2000 of us we're at Bolton just last weekend.

Peterborough v Northampton is a derby of sorts, so I'd say that explains the larger than normal Northampton following. Ours is consistent with the followings we've been getting all season.

Before Bolton had sold out, home tickets sales had dropped off at 3,700. An extra 300 were then sold yesterday, Bury then implented an I.D. check from this morning onwards. Today, 78 tickets were sold.

So just over 4k 'home' fans, 3.2k in the away end. Probably looking at about 8k on the night. Should make for a decent atmosphere.

What stands have you been allocated? I only ask as we took just over 3,500 last season and had both stands behind the goal, is that the case with you guys?

Small number of tickets left for Wimbledon now. Mind, it was a small number before a ticket was even sold.

No, heavy segregation means we have part of the main stand and the cemetery end. Wouldn't give us any more as the hope was that the 7k home fans would be an achievable number as per discussions between the club and supporters at a fans forum earlier this season. That isn't going to be the case obviously, but I still think it's a decent home turn out.
