250 tickets remain out of our 3130 allocation at Charlton on Saturday so another sell out likely.

Great numbers, shows what support a winning team will get, when compared to Millwall earlier in season.

Exactly. But even if it was millwall on Saturday would probably still only be 1500 , wank trip ruined by the police, getting kept in for an hour doesn't appeal to most.

Now 50 tickets left for Charlton, so no doubt will be a sellout.

Quality from Blades that is. Maybe we ought to cash in on Good Friday by increasing allocation from 4000 to about 6000 as no doubt this is their season

Doubt they'd sell 6,000 on Boxing Day with no trains running anyway.

No where to put the extra 2000 though and the police wont allow it after recent incidents when they've come to Burslem...

Unless Smurf decides to finish the half of the Lorne Street to put them in as it would be segregated by the players tunnel and dressing rooms?

It's not boxing day but if it was and we were on this form wed definitely be capable of selling 6k.

I've no idea where I got Boxing Day from.

I doubt they'd want to come on Boxing day again after the nightmare journey home they had a couple of years ago in the snow.

Maybe you have some talent regards premonition .

In the past a Port Vale v Sheff Utd fixture may as well be called "Boxing Day" ha ha.

I remember it.
As soon as the match finished it signalled the start of a heavy blizzard over the Pennines. Some Blades had to abandon their cars and there were stories that some got home at 2am having to walk miles in the snow.

I live in Leicestershire, usually an hour and 15 back took four and a half hours... horrific

Got back at half past midnight that day good job I was absolutely bolloxed as I slept till about 8pm at least. All part of the fun of awaydays.

Charlton away now sold out let's hope after a bit of a struggle to get the points despite having over 50 shots in our last 2 games we can get the goals flowing again but I'll be more than happy with a point.

the thread is about away support, they always banging on about their mega away support due to the 3 local games i mentioned, last 3 seasons be lucky to top 700 in total at Vale, yes our home support is woeful but i felt 148 for a one hour 15 drive is abysmal.

Care to tell me where we have always been "banging" on?
