Cov fans - we've sold our first 1,800 after they went on sale to season ticket holders few days ago. We're asking for more tickets monday... What's your maximum allocation you'll give us? Think we could top 3k

If the demand is there we give away fans the whole stand behind the goal which is 6.5k so you'll be able to take as many as you can. Only Leicester, Leeds and West Ham have sold out as far as I can remember.

Don't remember the Sheff Utd game but yes Chelsea as well, although they had a smaller allocation as all the plastic Cov fans were out in force

Was 2006 in our promotion season. Feb/March time if I remember rightly.

Sheffield United would have been just under 5k because that's all they gave to away supporters in the first season at the Ricoh if I remember correctly. Still a sell out though at the time.

I don't think it was, even Leeds/Birmingham only took 5k as thats all what was allowed under health and safety as the Ricoh was rushed and wasn't even ready for the first three games so we had to play away.

No point debating over something what happened over 10 years ago though.

That was your 1st season there wasn't it? I've just read an article on the match 23k plus with 6k travelling fans no idea how to post it on here but like you say it's a pointless debate.

We don't do all ticket games and then you had the audacity to raise the prices today by £4. That alone probably cost you another 200/300.
Not just for you. It's £4 more for us home fans too on the day - it's ridiculous.

None the less, for what was probably the most important game of the season for both of us, and about as local a derby as you could get, I think 1300 is pretty terrible.

Oldham are probably at the bottom of the pile for Derby games, in my eyes anyway. Dale and Bolton are the only two local games most Bury fans care about. If we get relegated we'll take more than 1300 to Accy and that's probably similar distance.

Making it all ticket puts fans of smaller clubs off, mainly because we're not used to doing it. It was an important game, but there's nothing appealing about going to Oldham for us. 1300 Is about 40% of our home gate these days.

We won't do they fill the home stands. Plenty of room on the hill to watch for everyone with no tickets.

Depends on demand from the home fans, away end holds 960 but sometimes visiting teams get 2 blocks of the unfinished East Stand (about 400 seats)

The most away fans we`ve had this season was 1549 from West Brom in the league cup but the home stands had plenty of empty seats so wasn`t a problem,
If it looks like there`s a lot of interest in the home areas then they won`t release any tickets for away fans in the East Stand

Shit. Think they'll be high interest given its CW return and without being arrogant the league leaders?

Just looked, not on sale yet, All other home game tickets available except you guys and poxford, I reckon they`re probably waiting to gauge home demand before announcing away allocations

40k + will be enough for sure. I reckon if we get 1400 or so then 33k should do it. Only 800 tickets then will sell out at 40k.
