Is there a plan to replace the 3 on that one side with one large stand ? It looks messy and given your crowds are high you need one to match the opposite side.
The new small one is only there as a temporary measure whilst the one behind the goal gets redeveloped, which will take us up to around 12,500 capacity, so that'll disappear by next season and probably end up at our training ground.

Making the short stand the full length will cost some serious £££ because it'll be a complete rebuild but it also has access issues around it, we're still harbouring hopes of moving, albeit not in the next 5-10 years I wouldn't imagine, and 12,500 capacity will be enough for us unless we get to the Championship and away fans swell the gates.

We now have 6 stands.

There is a little debate on our forum regarding away allocation at your ground.

My understanding is the away end is shared with home fans and clubs get an allocation of around 1k, others seem to think we can have the whole end if demand is there.

People are just concerned as the game has been earmarked by a lot of our fans and a lot are worried about missing out on a ticket.

Take a look at any old replays , the Cuckoo Lane was always full.
I don't need to look at any old replays, I've been at every Oxford v Swine game since the late sixties.

Before segregation, and the protection that it (and the OB) gave you, you clowns didn't even turn up for most of the games at your place, never mind ours, while we took the Town End on more than one occasion. Swine fans have NEVER been in the London Road End, and obviously now never will.

Anyway, fuck off back to the pub league page.

Sold 1200 for Leeds in the first day and abit of sales. Hoping for a decent following at Charlton next weekend aswell but with probably close to 2000 going leeds on Tuesday, that will probably effect the Charlton numbers.

For Burton Albion home and away support figures the local police twitter is your best bet. The club won't publish figures, but the police usually do. Go figure.
Fot the Ipswich game above, they reported 1400 exactly.

No delusion here. Fact is you've always come second to us off the pitch, and anyone who's anyone knows it. What I hate about the internet is bullshitters reinventing history.

And I'm not your mate.

Is there some restriction for away fans at Portman road? We have sold out our allocation and no more available. Our website says quote 'Over 500 tickets have been snapped up in just three days, meaning no more tickets are available to buy.' I thought the away allocation at Ipswich was way higher than that.

You are spot on. The club are dreadful at announcing away followings.
The police usually are pretty quick ( on Twitter ) but some of the numbers look like lazy rounding up or down - as it’s often an exact number like Ipswich. I think they must count heads and give up when someone goes for a piss.

I think they are one of the clubs who charge away clubs, for batches of allocations. So MK would have taken the 500 odd, thinking that would be enough, had MK sold them quicker they may have requested another batch of 500.

Fair enough. Seems a bit stupid in todays e ticket era. Would have been easier to just give us the full away allocation and take as much as you can in away ticket sales. It's not like you have to send bunches of paper tickets out anymore.

It varies. Because of home demand over the last four or five years, the Club have tended to give the minimum to away fans (1,000 or so) and then see how home sales go before decided whether to offer more.

I suspect the police will want the whole stand (1,800 or so) to be just for away fans, as they normally do for the big Saturday games.
