1,374 Vale at Wigan.

12,572 there, apparently, which is absolute bollocks.
No more than 7k in the whole ground. They apparently gave away 2k tickets, which they'll have counted. I wish clubs would be forced to give the actual attendance. I'm sure our lardy friends have had several sub 10k attendances this season.

Fantastic following again from us considering our predicament and the size of our average home crowd. Nearly 800 to Northampton on Monday after one of their fans said we had a shit following (Northampton would have taken about 400 to us if the roles had been reversed). Nearly 1400 today. If we'd have been up the top of the league, you could double that.

Surely you take more if you have something to play for.
I suspect we will be around 500 at your place next week, though it's meaningless for us, as it is for Northampton.

Very respectable following that.

Apparently only 1301 Bolton fans turned up at The Mem according to the Bolton News.

800 is about right - I saw that number mentioned somewhere on Saturday. And as you say, we’d sold 750 in advance. Blackpool don’t seem to have released an away figure.

We took more to Cobblers than they did to us so unsure why their fans are slating it?

Because we'd only sold just under 400 pre match.

We nearly had more pay on the day. I thought it was a very good following given how awful we've been for months.

They brought less in September fgs.

Yep, that Northampton fan has had a mare. They bought less to us when there was only about 4 games gone. Now that's shameful.

Northampton are in midtable, having the best season they have had in years and there away average for this season is alot less than vales, in a team that's getting relegated.

Fella on our forum has our average down as 820 which is decent for us and probably not far behind Vale’s, especially considering our local away games were all Tuesday night (Orient, Charlton, Derby, Oxford, Boro).

Vales support is normally good but when your team are down there and it’s the business end it’s more of a reason to go and get behind them surely?

Some updates:
The AWAY (Gasheads) following at Burton Albion on 21st October 2023 has been confirmed as 878.
The AWAY (Gasheads) following at Blackpool on 23rd December 2023 has been confirmed as 461.

Still waiting to hear how many Reading were at the Mem last night.

Not if you’ve suffered our away performances most weeks since September time!

As expected, Portsmouth have sold out their c1,100 allocation for the final day of the season.

We're around the 1,000 mark for Oxford on Tuesday.

Forest green took 80 to Mansfield the other day and they are fighting to avoid relegation. I know they don't have good support but even there 200 regulars they normally take away don't want watch them as there fed up of watching there team lose. Mansfield have sold 3500 to mk Dons away because there team is doing well and could be promoted. Apart from the bigger clubs like derby, Portsmouth and Bolton most teams at this level will take alot less support to away games when they are in the relegation zone or are losing most weeks.

The allocation at Sincil Bank is only 1100 nowadays? Which stand is that in? Guessing that will have to be upped a little bit once the Stacey West is redeveloped? Gonna make getting tickets even more of a ball ache next time we're in the same division (which won't be for ages probably looking at the way things are going).

Ours is pretty much consistent, not on Portsmouth/Derby levels obviously but we've been down in the bottom 5/6 all season and we're averaging about the same as last season when we finished 11th. We haven't had a good season in the EFL since 2005/06. Would love to know what our numbers would be like if we were going for promotion to L1.

We either give away fans the whole stand (1,900) or split between home and away fans, which we're doing for the Pompey game, did for the Orient game on Good Friday and will be doing tomorrow against Wigan.

No capacity increase as part of the redevelopment, there was supposed to be but the cost for that went from £2m to £4.5m+ after Covid so they've initially scaled it back to just building the Lincoln City Foundation area for the time being (which on it's own is costing £2.6m - than the original price for the whole development!).
