Peterborough at Wigan....82nd Minute. Not to bad to be fair. We were below parr today but they don't look like a team who get beat nearly every week. One of the better sides we have played this season.

If we weren't on such a terrible run I think we would have took a decent amount up to you. I certainly had it earmarked as a game to do pre a few weeks ago, westley slowly destroying our team changed my mind.

409 posh btw according to offi site.

It would be if thats how many of us were actually there. We pre-sold 1,163 and quite a few paid on the day so I've no idea where Walsall have plucked that number from. I'd have said there were a good 1,300 at least.

could it not be that Barnsley got it wrong and not Walsall???

How is 901 poor though? I think it's pretty good to be fair but I'm not in with the "our club said we were selling more and their club is wrong" game.

901 and move on. Just seen the goals and tv and the end behind the goal doesn't look to full so just under 1000 seems about right.

Just judging by how I thought our 1,100 plus at Notts County today was a bit under pair and it's further and you're a much bigger club

Bristol Rovers taking 1100 in league 2 for a 2 hour trip is outstanding to be fair.

have to disagree. Bristol Rovers have always been a sizeable club we average what 6500 and we're struggling i'd say you're a bigger club than us. Barnsley if they took 901 to Walsall it isn't bad support at all but given their recent upturn its perhaps below par...not poor though.

good luck btw hope you get promotion. always have a soft spot for you guys Goodnight Irene a great football song.

Our club may well have got it wrong. I think Walsall just didn't include the family tickets sold though. Meh. If it was genuinely only 901 then that's poor from us. I think there were a lot more than that though.

ground to ground doing the speed limit - 2hrs 10. Surely you go quicker than the speed limit but 1100 is still a great following. I checked it as I was thinking 3 hours plus.

That's not accounting for traffic. Took me closer to three hours than two last week.

Friday night, Grimsby brought over 350 to Forest Green, that is cracking support for a friday night game with the distance they travelled !!!

Undecided whether we'll take 5,000 to Wigan in a couple of weeks, or just take a mere 3,000.

Latest table. Still not sure about only 901 of us at Walsall (especially seeing as nearly half of the pre-sold figure our box office gave was made up of the family tickets Walsall said they'd sold to our fans) but I've nothing else to go on. I'll just have to console myself with the fact we made it 11 wins from 13:ds:

Scunny continue to not bother releasing away numbers and I couldn't find anything for Sheff Utd at Fleetwood.

If your current form persists I would not be suprised if it's half of that

Current form? We've taken 11 points from our last six, the same as Burton. Strange comment.

We're not playing well, though. Like last season and even more so this season, and we still find ourselves on the edge of the play-offs with games in hand. It just goes to show how poor the league is, nothing else.

More to do with the fact you have drawn a few and lost at home to Colchester. And for you to break into the mix you need to better our form not match it. We are not playing well at current and are scraping points out bar our comfortable victory at sheff Utd.
And yes, the league is poor. Piss poor - although if we win it, I couldn't give a shit as it was our only chence ever to have a stab at the championship

1078 Chesterfield at Burton (midweek).

We had sold out quite easily the 1400 for Shrewsbury for it to be moved to this coming Tuesday. About 400 were originally returned, but I wouldn't be surprised if others took up the opportunity to get a refund after recent form.
