It's not £52 on the train. Walsall to brum £3 then brum to Derby £16 derby to Sheff £10 sheff to barnsley £5 so £34. You will change at brum and sheff.

Only going off what was quoted by our fans on our forum.

It's only two hours by road too, straight up A38 and M1.

So long as the M1 is clear, it's generally quite an easy trip to Oakwell. Did it last season, unfortunately.

As I say, as shit as it is, we won't do much more than 2k on the head IMO.

I've just about finished the final away table. Before I post it if anyone's got any of the figures for the following or even estimates please let me know:

Burton vs Blackpool 02 January 2016
Burton vs Fleetwood 12 March 2016
Scunthorpe vs Burton 09 April 2016
Scunthorpe vs Colchester 23 January 2016
Scunthorpe vs Southend 13 February 2016
Scunthorpe vs Donny Rovers 08 March 2016
Scunthorpe vs Swindon 28 March 2016
Scunthorpe vs Port Vale 30 April 2016
According to Vale programme on Sunday it was exactly 700 at Scunny last week, i would of said between 600 and 750 , not sure if that is confirmed or estimated but defo in programme v Walsall

I expect us to bring just under 2000.

Could be higher depending on how many day trippers want to give the effort. Fed up of most of them only coming to support us when we are on the verge of success, but then can't be arsed when it isn't close.

Genuinely not even sure whether i'd rather us to bring just under 2000 real supporters or bring over 2000 with half being day trippers.

Way of the world Jonny, we had 12,000 and 10,800 respectively against Northampton and Burton in promotion season League 2.
Since coming up best has been Wolves 12,000 and then maybe 9000 when Cov brought 3500 as boycotting sixfields. Apart from that we have struggled to average 5000.

Prawn sandwich brigade, we all have them.

Be just over 2,000 I think though who knows yet. 52 quid on the train is quoted by thickos who dunno how to split.

I can't make it unfortunately due to funds. Gutted to be honest

Your first play off in donkeys. Just twatted Vale away 5-0.

You should be taking as many as you did to Vale at the minimum. Hardly miles away is it?

Agreed. Thought two aways on the bounce never help boost numbers. Few notes spent at vale no doubt

A few hopefuls will be saving for Wembley too don't forget :emb:

Just to clarify that the "150" for the Gills attendance at Scunthorpe in the official Gills prog is my estimate. I was at the game and do the attendance stats for the Gills prog, Scunny didn't reply even when my editor asked for the official figure... why top secret? Anyone know the exact figure? Cheers!

I think I remember a figure of 172 on Twitter for that one.

Can get Derbyshire wayfarer which will cover from Burton to Chesterfield for about £12 each. Burton to Walsall is about £10 too (thats what I did for Walsall away) and then Chesterfield to Barnsley was £7 return last week

That would be 2 changes in Birmingham and Sheffield. Brum to Sheff train calls at Burton usually so tickets valid without getting off.

£52 my arse.

As I said, only going off what someone said on our forum. I won't be needing public transport so it's an irrelevance to me. Myself and 4 others got our tickets.

Seen it mentioned somewhere that it's going to be all ticket now, meaning people will have to go to the ground tomorrow to get the tickets. We are going to look stupid requesting the extra 2k.

1800 sold.

South Yorkshire Police really are the most useless set of twazzocks in the world when it comes to doing their jobs.

We were advised to give Walsall the extra 2,000 tickets to avoid having to make it all ticket (why the hell we couldn't have just given them another 1,000 I don't know), and yet now it's been confirmed as all ticket. This is also in part due to "nearly all home areas have sold out". Also bollocks, as we've not opened the north side of the west stand (2,500 seats) as well as the remaining 2,000 in the north stand. Shambles.

So we're not allowed to open the other half of the west stand nor the remainder of the north stand due to "health and safety and police restrictions". This includes "proximity to away fans". We're playing Walsall ffs.

So thanks to SYP we're going to have 14,000 home fans in a 23,000 seater stadium. So there'll be roughly 6,500-7,000 empty seats all thanks to these dickheads.

That's totally true, although, after a couple of 'proper nawty' incidents in the last few years, I believe we had the top 3/4 biggest policing bill in League 1 last/this season. So that may have factored into their thinking.

We are mostly a family club, however we have a reasonable amount of Chavy fans too, who tend to come out for the bigger away days and cause trouble.

This is the same police force who are overseeing thousands of empty seats in a sell out at Hillsborough tonight. How are separate stands not enough for SYP when at the biggest games, at the biggest clubs in the country a few feet and a few stewards are sufficient?

Bramall Lane and Hillsborough have more seats blocked off than any other ground in the country despite both grounds having 4 separate stands. There a fucking joke mate been proved to be nothing but vile lying corrupt shithouses.

Didn't they insist on Wednesday having every other row in the upper tier at your place and other empty sections last time? It's beyond ridiculous. They seem to think it's all put on for their benefit.

Yes 1 row full 1 row empty on the upper tier quite possibly the most ridiculous thing I've ever known. I passionately hate them.
