Millwall was a joke last year kept at the ground for an hour after. I'm expecting the same in 2 weeks too other than that it's a good day out

Millwall is a good away day.
As previously said, there are some great pubs around Borough Market, as well as being easy to get to from most of London.
You can also get some reasonable pie and mash, though the best is obviously north of the river.

Confirmed away for Charlton was 1,015. The Bury Twitter made a typo for 1,105 it seems as everywhere else including the scoreboard gave 1,015.. Regardless it was a decent following. More than Millwall brought last season I think.

Charlton's away support should be decent all season as I believe a lot of their fans are only doing away games until the current regime are gone.

Thats shame. I remember being kept inside Bramall Lane for well over one half hours back in 1984.
Just because we beat you and your fans decide to have meltdown like a spoilt fucking child.

I'd rather be kept in the ground after having seen the game. Last time we went there in the league cup they had two ticket windows open for 1,200 away fans. My group missed the first half an hour in the queue outside

They used to let away fans out 1st makes much more sense as it only requires 1 train to get rid of us all.

You must suffer from a lack of imagination when you come to London then. Being so close in, it allows you to drink any where central and be half an hour or so from the ground.
The drinking in London bit is fine. The journey to the ground, the police escorts, the mongy moments between fans from the hill down to the road, and of course the fact we get beat regularly down there, means it ranks way down my list of London trips.

The walkway eliminates much of that.

You can also avoid much of that by piling into cab from whatever pub you drink in before the game.

Wow it's not like AFC Wimbledon fans to hold a grudge

No grudge held whatsoever. Just thought it a little ironic that he was moaning about being kept in the ground because of home fans when their own fans have a history of the same thing.

What all 12 of you.

I think Wimbledon hold the record for the lowest number of away fans on the away end at Bramall Lane It was at a time you were severely boycotting in your final season as Wimbledon.

I'm not sure whether the official away number was 12 or 17.

What was weird as there was about 6 Wimbledon fans causing a commotion in the executive box next to the away end.

So half the away support were in an executive box ha ha.
Never liked playing Wimbledon in the 80's, we always seemed to lose.

LOL. I know those ones in the box you mention! Sit with them every week, in fact. I can't tell you why they were in a box, but think what the obvious connection is between the two clubs in terms of managers? ;) We still take up the offer of a seat in the Directors Box at Bramall Lane every season. Always a good laugh.

Great turnout, probably going to be one of the highest we see at The Valley this season.

I'm sure it won't. They'll be plenty who will take around or higher than that figure.

Gutted we play you on a Tues night.

Going by the home gate I think we're both bored of playing each other. Usually utter drab affairs too
