I'm not going :( I'm away.
Least we're averaging a Wembley appearance every 2 or 3 seasons at the moment so you might not have to wait too long for another opportunity!

Sounds good.

Some decent pubs around Wembley as well - if you get allocated the ones we did earlier this season it should be up an enjoyable pub crawl.

Are there? :animatedf:

Personally I would head to Harrow on the Hill, few there before Wembley. However given its a 5.30 KO if you are there early enough you have plenty of options.

Andy Madley is the referee for this. Can't say I remember any shockers from him.

That's less than us so far. Then again, we're much closer to Wembley so that figures.

We are a bigger club though ;)

Yours aren't on general sale yet though are they?

Monday, can't see it making too much of a difference though.

I know people who have never been in North End have got a ticket. Add to that, 2 United season ticket holders also have a ticket.
Be another surge on Monday, 25k at the very best from us. More than likely be around the 22k.

Coach tickets collected. Very uncharacteristically prepared. It's a bit disconcerting.

My reasoning for wanting Preston to win is more to do with the fact (my opinion) that I think they are more deserving based on league position and they took 4 points off us whereas Swindon managed 0. Plus, Tom likes a few of my posts so I could do with him in the Championship.

For what it is worth (not a lot, nobody gives a fuck what I say), my dislike of Swindon Town stems from a dislike of the town itself, the ground and the ridiculous price asked to enter the aforementioned, your main forum and the fans I came across on our first visit who were most unpleasant and again a few years ago when 15-20 Swindon 'yoof' wanted some with me and 2 mates (we gave it 'em).

I am indifferent about the rest (whatever that is) and I am convinced the posters on here are not Swindon fans cos they are generally sound whereas the stereotypical Swindon fan is a precociously corpulent reprobate and a myopic grudge-festering proof that test tube experiments can go horribly wrong.
Way to go, ironic is all I can say...

We've flogged over 18,000 so far, so somewhere between 25-30,000 I reckon.

Wembley bastards dragging their heels opening up the £30 seats

I'm not sure why people care how many day trippers we take to Wembley, the most home fans we have had in Deepdale this season is just under 17,000

Usual suspects - you know who they are!

No, seriously, I have always detested the cock waving about club's attendances.

You get what you get.

Please don't embarrass yourselves Preston North-End and let Bristol Rovers take more to a Conference PO Final than you take to a L1 PO Final...

On a serious note though - the population of Preston is what? 100,000+?

And Preston are a far bigger and better followed club than Bristol Rovers - I'd of bet my house on your lot taking more than The Gas to Wembley, and you may still.

I guess the day trippers from the big City helps in the big games like this though.

Walsall took more to the JPT final than we will take to Wembley for this game.

I don't think you can read too much into what our following will be. And that's without even taking into account the travel/logistical chaos we will be facing.

If trains were running, the game kicked off earlier, and it was for a place in the Premiership....I'm sure we'd take 40k quite easily.

As it's only for a place in the Championship....a league we know very well, people just aren't as enthusiastic about it all.

Look at Sheff Utds following against Huddersfield. 25k, and they're a massive club.

I don't think we should be made to feel embarrassed for taking under 30k - All things considered.

To be honest I would'nt care if I there was only the 8k hardcore at Wembley as long as we win , I thought we would struggle to sell 25k and even that is looking optimistic. As said by many 5:30 KO on a sunday, no trains , 3rd visit in 5 years plus half term week with many people jetting off on holiday and the sheer cost of the day it is no surprise really, it sounds like PNE are suffering the same apathy from floating supporters.
