Got to give it to county they always produce then they need to. Good result.

Still tight down there - would be good to see slater experience league 2 once more before he kicks the bucket

Scenes like this at Crawley next week are likely to happen when we go down. SISU out.

How is it SISU's fault that your team has no bottle?

You two are utterly clueless. Pressley had a large budget this year, he signed a lot of shite, was tactically inept and so we lost games. Stop blaming sisu for fucking everything. Yes, they're shite owners, but that isn't the reason why Pressley was a shite manager.

Maybe if we hadn't been at sixfields when the season began we could have recruited better players

The number of loan signings we have had this year is shocking, all their fault.

Pretty much every problem in this club stems back to their pathetic ownership.

So why didn't they sack him earlier? Why did Pressley fail to bring in his main targets?

Every problem stems back to their ownership.

Probably because half of the fans (including you) wanted to give him more pissing time.

No they didn't 90% wanted him gone. I decided I wanted him gone at Christmas.

Mowbray has hardly done a perfect job has he?

I think we should try to get our Cup Final against Coventry switched to Wembley; the heaving throngs will never be able to all fit into our ground.

Glad we are leaving this thread through the front door rather than the door down to the basement.

Crawley, Colchester and Orient to go please.

Has anybody worked out the 'formula' for his each team can survive?

He's done the best he can with the squad he was left with. How can you blame Mowbray?

He has had an awful amount of opportunities to get us clear and failed to take them. Yes, they are not his players, but they are players you would expect to stay up in this league.

No doubt Pressley was fuckin awful and I do believe Mowbray would have us at least top half even with this squad had he had a full season. But SISU have the ultimate responsibility for the state of the football club, like firstly what idiot was it that sanctioned a 4 year contract for Pressley with only a break clause if we dropped in the bottom 4 (the bit about the break clause is an assumption from me)

Today was poor I'll agree, but beating Chesterfield, Fleetwood, P'boro, Colchester and drawing with Bristol City is not good enough is it? We were unlucky to draw against county and lose to Orient as well. A key issue has been losing Samuel and to a lesser extent Tudgay. Samuel was probably our only good striker out of the fucking 8 that we've had.

That was a stupid decision. It just irritates me that people blame sisu for everything

I'm still refusing to believe we'll stay up. We're so bad and people are treating this 'all we have to do is win' stuff like it's a simple task.

I don't consider myself to be one of those who blame them for anything but they are to blame for a lot of things or blame by association of the actions of Fisher/Waggot who are considered by many SISU mouthpieces

The lowest attendances ever
The high turnover of players this season
The employment of one of the worse managers ever and part responsibility for the quality of the playing staff
The dire club shop
The uncertainty regarding the clubs future venue, everything about us is short term

Forthcoming fixtures:

19th Crewe(45) - 52 points. Bradford(H)
22nd Notts County(45) - 50 points. Gillingham(A)

23rd Colchester(44) - 48 points. Swindon(H), Preston(H)
24th Yeovil(45) - 40 points. MK Dons(A)

Well, we have a situation where any 3 from 6 teams could all go down next Sunday, regardless of what happens on Tuesday with Colchester. Insane. Can't call the permutations really, because if Colchester win on Tuesday then the pack is tightened and it throws everything up in the air. I suspects there will be a number of fans glued to phones and computers checking the score on Tuesday.

If Swindon put out a team similar to the one they put out today then Col U and Orient have every chance of getting points against them.

Failing to get the Ricoh was the worst thing they have done. They know they have cocked up big time.
