Sadly I can see Colchester taking 3, if not 4 points, Crawley beating Cov and County collapsing at Gills. Hope I'm wrong though. Cov, County, Crewe to stay up please, anything else after that is fine either way. At least keep County up out of them all. (Sorry Crewe and Cov I'd like to you stay up too please).

The sad thing is, we will probably beat Swindon and our fucking players and staff will still get applauded by our retarded, stupid, thick, gourmless supporters because we're a too nicey nice club and it fucks me right off, 125 years and our biggest ever budget and we go down - With virtually the same squad who finished 3rd last year, our new owner, manager, CEO and all the players can all for all I care fuck off  I hope Swindon destroy us 6-1 like MK did.

Good luck to all sides fighting for League One survival! But for me, purely down to quality of away day, it would be nice if all of or some of Colchester, Crawley and Leyton Orient stay up as in my opinion they're all better away days than Crewe, Coventry and Notts County.

Eh? Crawley and Colchester are among the worst in the league, especially from Bradford, surely?

Was gonna say, he's got the wrong way round. Orient's ok, bit of a trek and no atmosphere though, but Colchester and Crawley?

They're up there amongst the best for me (so is Notts but I prefer the others) Colchester always seems to be a great away day every time and always have a good night out there after. I never used to like Crawley but this season we decided to stay over in Crawley rather than London a had a great night, surprisingly had a good nightlife for a Tuesday night.

I have a horrible feeling you'll stay up, send Rovrum down, MK will go up in the play-offs, Crawley, Col U and Orient will all lose their remaining games and go down, and Southend will bugger up their third place as Wycombe have - Bury to sneak up in third and Plymouth through the play-offs. I think that'd make our local game next season potentially Swindon...?

It could be even worse for you if Mk Dons pip Preston to 2nd and then Swindon win the playoffs. Who'd be your closest game then, Peterborough?

Us - because if MK Dons pip Preston, chances are we may very well have stayed up in the process :bg:

Well, at least we move above Leyton Orient so that's one less result to worry about on Sunday.

We MUST beat Preston to stand any hope, so that would put us on 52. Notts and Crawley are therefore both allowed to draw. Crawley play Coventry who aren't safe yet themselves and Gillingham isn't the easiest place to go to.

Beating Preston is the hardest part but, if we some how can, I guess we're in with a shout. Tonight was our big opportunity though, we had enough chances to win two games so dropping two points is devastating.

If by some miracle we win and yourselves, Notts County and Crawley all draw/lose, we will be safe due to our goal difference

Not going to happen though!!!

Fantastic result. Utterly brilliant. Odds on beating Swindon and Colchester/ Crawley/ Notts County failing to win? Still only 1/8 for relegation. Seems high to me.

Or what Termy said ^

Updated permutations for safety:

Coventry - 18th - 52pts:

Win - Safe.
Draw - Safe.
Lose - Safe if 1 of the following occurs: Crewe lose, Notts County fail to win, Colchester fail to gain a GD of 8 by winning.

Crewe - 19th - 52pts:

Win - Safe.
Draw - Safe.
Lose - Safe if 2 of the following occur: Notts County fail to win, Crawley fail to win, Colchester fail to win.

Notts County - 20th - 50pts:

Win - Safe.
Draw - Safe if all 3 of the following occur: Crawley fail to win, Colchester fail to win, Leyton Orient fail to win.
Lose - Safe if all 3 of the following occur: Crawley lose, Colchester fail to win (not losing by 4 goals if Colchester draw), Leyton Orient fail to win.

Crawley - 21st - 50pts:

Win - Safe.
Draw - Safe if all 3 of the following occur: Notts County lose, Colchester fail to win, Leyton Orient fail to win.
Lose - Relegated.

Colchester - 22nd - 49pts:

Win - Safe if 2 of the following occur: Coventry lose (whilst gaining a GD of 8), Crewe lose, Notts County fail to win, Crawley fail to win. In this case, at least 1 of the Crewe/Notts County outcomes must occur, since it's only possible for 1 of the Coventry/Crawley outcomes to occur.
Draw - Safe if all 3 of the following occur: Notts County lose by 4 goals, Crawley lose, Leyton Orient fail to win.
Lose - Relegated.

Leyton Orient - 23rd - 48pts:

Win - Safe if all 3 of the following occur: Notts County fail to win, Crawley fail to win, Colchester fail to win.
Draw - Relegated.
Lose - Relegated.

Colchester is a great night out, if you're old enough try it in your League 2 fixture next season.

It used to be a decent night out, now it is full of chavs. Nottingham has always been a decent night out.

Agree about Nottingham but it's so close and a night out can be done anytime unlike Colchester a place where I would only ever be bothered to travel to if it was for football and for me I've always had a great day/night there, so as an away day fixture Colchester is more attractive than Notts County. Shame they're probably going down.

STICK OR TWIST?
1355 hrs on 3/5/15 - Colchester losing at home 2-0; Orient losing away 2-0; Notts County losing away 1-0; We're drawing 1-1 with Coventry.
Go for the win? And what do Coventry do?

What ever happens, well done to those who survive; commiserations to those who don't.
It's only a game!

Hope to see 19 of you again next season. If not, c'est la vie.

See you all for Scary Sunday

Davis really does deserve the sack if we go down from this position now.

I still want us to play to win on Saturday though because we're asking for it if we play for a 0-0.

Credit to the lads though, I've been very critical of the team so much at times this season but to be in this position considering where we were after 11 games is unbelievable, one more push and we're over the line.

Crewe, Coventry and County safe. County as a priority. After that, orient please. Colchester and Crawley are on a par, but Colchester because they replicate something like a traditional football club.

I think the only really appropriate ending to the season would be if we all lost. Our teams should all be ashamed of themselves whatever the outcome.

With regards to Crawley, I joke a lot about you being tinpot and pointless and in need of relegation but seriously good luck.

This all has the perfect amount of excitement and jeopardy for us. It's ace.

I don't care who goes down, as long as it's not us. Hope whoever does go down though goes down with the very last kick of the game just to rub it in and make the FL Show watchable..
