If we are to persist with a 3-5-2 we definitely need an upgrade on those playing at wing back, despite Brough's recent scoring record.

Yeah, I prefer to have a defender there who can attack, rather than someone like Kay, who can't defend at all. I still think Barry can do a job there but he never really got a proper run of games at right wing-back this season, and is totally lost in midfield. We might change system altogether, but do we have the full-backs for a back four either?

What's the Luke James verdict after a full season?

Looking at his goals record, it's not impressive, but honestly he's been one of our better players. Works hard and brings people into play - just never really gets into a goalscoring position. I'm sure every Barrow fan will be happy to have him for another season.

They have, he wrote off £35m of debt at the beginning of the season I think.

Same with colchester, HOW is it possible to get into that much debt at this level?

If you go up you have a 50% chance of coming back down in a year. If you go down you have a 50% chance of going back up in a year. FACT.
Double promotions and relegations are much rarer than becoming a yo yo club.
Rotherham United are the current No1 at that. Often too good for League 1, too poor for the Championship financially.
Unless a billionaire takes over none of us, NONE, will cope financially with how things are.

Salford City are a fake entity that relies totally on the continued interest of their billionaire owner and his efforts in Spain aren't impressive.
Bradford City had a good run that ended up back here.
Bolton owners had to borrow £30m when they took over.

It was a business loan to purchase club/hotel
These loans occur each day
The plan for these owners is to take the club back to the championship/premier then sell the golden goose
In all due respect Rob none live in a flat in birkenhead

Based on?

Quick look suggests most stay up, even if it's a bit outdated.

Based on the last few seasons, which are the only ones that count.

Why take out a loan if they are massively wealthy. It couldn't have cost much to buy a near bankrupt business.
Our majority shareholder is a local who played many times for the club and has extensive experience in turning round failing businesses, as he has done at Tranmere. He has never felt the need to take out huge loans to rebuild things.
We have had outside investment from Indonesia but only in buying 21% of shares.
I also live in a grade 2 listed house in Wallasey.
Like Bolton Wanderers i no longer reside in my home town.

Not concerned they have taken the loan out and bought the club. To be quite honest i only know of 2 of the consortium, other names have been well documented.
These have quietly gone about settling the administration fees/debt in the last 18 months
They returned 2 charges on parcels of land back to the club. One of the 2 is a Bolton fan and someone who dug deep into his pocket to pay players when wages went unpaid in the last administration.
Remind me where the town of Tranmere is

Tranmere isn't a town. Its a suburb of Birkenhead. Birkenhead is a town where Tranmere Rovers play. Anything else i can help with in respect of filling in gaps in your obviously lacklustre education.

You have absolutely no sense of irony. That much is clear.

Well that’s strange as this morning I replied to thefutureswhite with a question about Cheltenham being above Bolton and you piped up with a response but I’ve got news for you pal, the question was not addressed to you so jog on.

Horwich, according to government information, is a town. It is part of The Metropolitan Borough of Bolton which is part of Greater Manchester.
If as you stated recently Bolton is not part of Greater Manchester because the government says it is then surely Horwich is not part of Bolton for the same reason.
You do not play in Bolton. YOUR words are a weapon.
As are you.

You started the thing.
Change your user name to JCB.
You are superb at digging holes. For yourself anyway.
