Strating the thread for this one a bit early, the wait for our next game seems to be forever, international breaks are so dull...

Pretty pessimistic about this one - we were truly terrible at times against Reading, and while we came back into it to a certain extent, the scoreline of 3-1 was fair and we deserved nothing. Thankfully we look in better shape now than we did then (Djuricin, Woods and Cano have all come in, Macleod is also back in full training surprisingly!) but I still think this will be a tough game for us. In a couple of months with a couple of injured players back, and the new guys all bedded in, I think we'll see a return to what we are really capable of, and I hope we don't fall too far behind in the meantime.

Probable team:

Button
Colin - Dean - Tarkowski - Bidwell
Diagouraga - Woods
Vibe - Judge - Gogia
Djuricin

Subs: Bonham, O'Connell, McCormack, Kerschbaummer, Saunders, Cano, Hofmann

As for the result, I think Leeds have a very good squad this season, and exactly the type of players to hurt us. I would be very happy with a draw, I think it's possible but more likely we'll lose 2-0.

Probably a good time to play Brentford. Got to be looking at three points...that would turn our good start into a very good one. Imagine we'll be unchanged from Derby - with Murphy for Mowatt the only potential change.

Silvestri

Berardi
Bamba
Cooper
Taylor

Adeyemi
Cook
Mowatt

Byram
Wood
Dallas

Subs: Turnbull, Wootton, Bellusci, Murphy, Phillips, Botaka, Antenucci.

I'll probably go to this one and I'll be positive and opt for 2-0.

Interesting stat in the Beeb, Brentford have the highest possession stats in the league this year, 65% on average, which is ridiculously high.

Still, we continue to look very weak on the counter, same as last season. Fully expecting us to lose tomorrow, wouldn't be too surprised if we win. When injuries are back and we have a few months under our belt playing together, we'll be a very tricky side to play. Teams are lucky it they are playing us at the moment though

Both sides could have won that. Right result in the end. We came out after half time and looked a lot more threatening but still had a lot of hairy moments at the back. We do look a lot more like scoring with Antenucci on the pitch.

Shame we couldn't pinch it but hey the streak goes on...

Would have taken that result before so fairly happy with that. An encouraging performance after the horror show against Reading last game.

Brentford certainly lively. At least when we turn it on we look good this year.. it was only for half the game today but we should be capable of beating teams regularly at home if we keep the pressure on. Was a high energy game and the ginger lad who came on for Brentford wasn't on the pace straight away and got robbed by Dallas (who was very good) for the goal. Both teams can have room for optimism and I'm glad we've got a point when Bamba had a bit of a mare as hopefully he'll be back to his supreme best on Tuesday

Encouraging performance that. First half we were excellent and deserved the lead. Second half we had two opportunities to finish the game off - header across an open goal line and hitting the post - and you could sense Leeds were then going to have opportunities to get back into it, hitting the post themselves and then equalising.

With so many mew players most of our side are still finding their own feet in this division/country, and the team will continue to tighten up as they play more games together. But there's a good solid base from which to build upon for the rest of the season. First trip to Elland Road for me and thoroughly enjoyed it :)
