Our biggest bogey team - we haven't beaten Leeds in my lifetime.

Bit more confidence going into this than I would have had a few weeks back, but I still don't think we'll get anything here. Two sides playing 4-3-3 and Leeds just have that extra bit of quality in the middle that we currently don't have.

Think Gladwin might start - we looked so deprived of ideas in the middle last night with both Freeman and Reid on the pitch. As much as Reid is an academy boy and fans were calling out for him to start, he's not going to make it at this level. He's far too lightweight to play a central midfield role, and I don't believe he should be getting into Freeman's position.

O'Donnell
Ayling - Flint - Baker - Williams(?)
Pack - Smith - Gladwin
Burns - Kodjia - Bryan
I hope we sign a left back before Saturday, Williams is truly incapable at this level. I said it all year last year that he was the weak link in our side playing centre half - he's just as bad as a full back which is his 'preferable position'.

Can't see past a home win.

2-1 Leeds

Freeman with our goal off the bench.

I still don't see it as 433 tbh a mix of 451 and 4321/4231 depending on how forward Reid, Freeman or Gladwin (presuming) get on attack and defence. Expect Williams to play, solid enough defensively however he needs to just distribute the ball as soon as possible to someone.

Not supremely confident. A win though and I think that'll see us safe from being dragged into the mire. Hopefully Wood will be back this time having had fitness tests for the last two.

Pack doesn't deserve to be dropped imo and definitely not before Reid, he was one of few who stood up to be counted against WBA last night. Too many people coasted through the game but Pack played well. Put Smith back alongside him and Gladwin in and I think we have a solid trio there for the time being. Heck I'd probably rather see Wagstaff given a go in the middle, while Reid shows potential he gave the ball away to much to allow at championship standard either by a wayward pass or being muscled off the ball.

Yes Pack was very good last night. Would feel harsh dropping him but looking at the bigger picture he's not played like that in any other game this season.

Think Reid has been our worst player in the last two games. Lightweight and constantly giving the ball away. Shame as was hoping he'd step up with Freemans form so poor. God knows how we will line up. Unchanged from Boro I guess. Freeman in for Reid?

Was going to this till saw the prices.

Dont see why we would change the team from the one who deservedly beat the league leaders.

We made that mistake last time.

Gladwin may be an improvement though.

1-1.

We are usually the better team when we play Leeds yet always end up losing to them thanks to missed penalties, sending offs, substitute appearances by Nicky Hunt 'etc.

The same will probably happen here. Would be delighted with a point.

I'm inclined to agree with Hodge. While he's a fine footballer, Reid is very small and was bullied a bit by the Baggies midfield on Tuesday. There's nothing he can do about it but, against a physical midfield, he may struggle.

Yeah, Reid's a lightweight and I don't think he'll ever make it at this level personally. Much rather have Freeman in the side, willing to give Gladwin a chance in that position as well.

It's a real pity but I am inclined to agree. The frustrating thing is there's bugger all he can do about it. Technically, he is very good but the ease with which he can be pushed off the ball COULD be his undoing.

Happy with that team. Would love us to fucking hammer Leeds, just to see that fat, red odious c*** of a managers reaction.

Reckon we'll lose this. Wood only fit enough for the bench so little goal threat from us. Long rangers or set pieces our hope.

We certainly sounded like the better side in that half. No doubt Evans will rip in to the home side.
Baker has to come off and Pearce replace him.
