Leeds vs. Middlesbrough

Probably the biggest game of both teams' season so far, a top of the table clash at Elland Road under the lights.

Two differing styles of football, but on paper this game should be a cracker - Boro have started off well and haven't spent loads (in comparison to last year anyway) to build up their squad. I think this might make them more dangerous than Stoke and Derby who are still in a transition period playing together. Bielsa's press against a talented Pulis team will make for interesting viewing. I'm sure it'll be a great atmosphere at the game and in all likelihood another sell out crowd.

I'd settle for a draw to be honest, but we'll see - the league cup fixtures tonight are probably something both teams could do without.

back to a strong line up and 6 or 7 rested from last nights disappointment to come back in

A good game , boro set up for a point and got it , leeds couldnt get there game plan going , ref was rubbish though if friends tackle wasnt a booking but saiz was they should of been 10 red cards, leeds will be up there , boros game is to not concede and nick a goal very dangerous game to play

Nah I enjoyed it hard fought game and big point for both teams, Cooper was fucking annoying me though sure he was determined to lose it for us

That Saiz is a weird one. Gets himself about trying to look like Maradona on the ball......then you see his end product.

Looks like a corpse too. His face looks like a cheap Halloween mask from off a market stall.

Pullis got his tactics spot on. Disrupted Leeds' tactics and broke when they could. Neither teams really threatened seriously as a result. Entertaining game tactically, the sheer size of Boro's centre backs stifled Leeds' wingers but Leeds controlled midfield meaning Assombalonga was isolated. All the handbags in the box was embarrassing for both teams.

A fair result really.
