Love to see Leeds make a strong start as it makes the inevitable mid-season collapse all the more entertaining.

Can't quite believe how average we made Stoke look - Leeds pressed really well and they never really allowed Stoke to get going.

Concerns me that with a lean squad, we'll struggle to play at that kind of tempo consistently.

Positive start, another tough test again Derby next week.

Yes, impressive effort throughout the game. It did look like Stoke thought Leeds would just be not good enough, lay down and die. They still have loads of quality players so we'll see where they are after 10-odd games. Still reckon they'll be up there.

i'm really hoping they have the same attitude next weekend, and don't have a reaction from this game - seems like the right time to play them.

Remember Newcastle had a couple of losses to start their campaign a couple of years ago.
