Leicester Champions or Chelsea Relegated?

At the beginning of the season, if you were to be asked what would be the most shocking outcome of the season; Leicester to win the Premier League or Chelsea to get relegated, how would you respond?

They were both 5000/1 at the beginning of the season.

Chelsea relegated, I suppose.

Then again, Leicester winning the league.

If you had to choose between Leicester winning the league, or Chelsea getting relegated and your biggest rivals winning the league, which would you choose?

I would say Chelsea getting relegated. There have been one off champions abroad, but never the holders getting relegated.

I'd definitely say Leicester to win the league is the biggest outsider. For Chelsea to be relegated would take one team to have an absolute shitter, and you could always think up other situations like Abramovich pulling out, Mourinho falling ill (or at this stage, staying in the job?!) or something major to happen to key players, like illness or I dunno, a bus accident (!). But for Leicester to win the league you'd have to think that Leicester go from a club that spent the majority of last season staring up at the other clubs arseholes, to being a top side whilst at the same time Chelsea, Man City, Arsenal, Man Utd etc etc all have relative stinkers.
I'd say it's easier for a top team to turn to shit and drop than a lower team to turn to league winners. Even moreso nowadays.

Thats a tough question to think about tbh, either of Leicester winning the league or Chelsea being relegation fodder would have seemed impossible preseason.

Chelsea are nowhere near important enough to care about them getting relegated over a Leicester title win.
