Our starting line up is pretty much expected with Iborra and Drinkwater still out James continues in the middle. Iheanacho is injured too, fantastic. So we get to keep Okazaki in the 11 who will no doubt spend more time on the floor than on his feet.

He's just got himself another goal, leave him alone!

This ref is cack. Okazaki got cleaned out in the furst half, Brighton get a free kick. This half a Brighton player slides to take a ball thats 100% his, Vardy runs into his legs a good second after the ball has gone, free kick to us? Wtf?

You shouldn't be complaining if the referee decisions are going your way

Two tough fixtures to start the season with but it's clear we need a) the new signings to settle in and quick, and b) major reinforcements up front (desperately need some pace).

Not getting too downbeat just yet as I wasn't expecting us to get anything from City or Leicester - however, the step up in quality required to create and score chances at this level is evidently quite large. Who knows when/if we'll start to acclimatise..

Certainly need that first point/win (or even just a goal) to get us up and running.

Is Houghton trying to play a more defensive game? I don't get why the player of the season on your way up can't get a start unless CH is just trying to shut up shop and keep things tight. Which you haven't got the players to do.

Knocky missed most of pre-season so is still playing catch up. Hopefully he'll be ready to start in our next game.

Clearly we're gonna set up more defensively in this division compared to the Championship, goes without saying - but obviously Hughton needs to find a balance that can enable us to create a bit more up the other end as we've looked about as impotent as it's possible to look so far.

Hmmm, I heard from one of the lads at work about the chants and while you don't condone it what I'm told, before this story was released, was that some Leicester fans were singing to Brighton fans things like "Is your boyfriend back at home?" Which probably deserves condemnation for just how shit it is rather than its message.
"Vicious" is a tad overboard. I'd bet on the 70's being a bit worse somehow.

Yeah, the tone of the articles suggests much worse than that.

Maybe the 20 or 30 odd were being more aggressive than that. Or maybe the journo just wants to spice up the story.

The songs sung to Brighton by pretty much every team are only ever done in a good humoured way, another example of this country being far too touchy.
