I suspect he never envisaged a capitulation on such a grand scale so close to the Liverpool game, or that, City and their expensively assembled squad's ability to waltz through games with consummate ease would eventually die on its arse. Hence ,I can fully understand why he feels he needs to abstain from posting as football forums are generally not the most forgiving of environments for fans who have delighted in such unabashed swagger.
