Otamendi is learning from Aguero, Sterling and Yaya's diving antics then.

Neither side will be too dissatisfied with that.

The viewers, on the other hand, might have expected slightly more excitement from a match between the two highest scoring sides in the league!

Diving is absolutely rife in that City team by the way, I've never seen anything quite like it. I'd contemplate using the word "disgraceful", perhaps even going as far as to say it was "completely fucking reprehensible".

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
Sky deliberately didn't show the actual elbow, just the minimal contact from the other hand. Went down easy, but he could easily have gone for that.

Deluded Silks. If Otamendi doesn't get a yellow for a foul from behind on Vardy why would Huth get sent off for Otamendi being a total fanny?

Probably the best result for Arsenal in the short term.

It's nice, but ultimately meaningless to be top come the new year.

Danny Mills with some excellent analysis on Radio 5: "If you're going to elbow someone, make sure you do it with a clenched fist for more power"

He's not on 5Live, it's Claridge.

Because he elbowed him, not very hard, like some sort of cowardly bunny rabbit, in the side of the head.

Yep. The Otter got away with the earlier foul.

Silva and KDB just don't seem suited to the same team.

When was the last time a ref gave a penalty for a foul where the player doesn't go down in the box? Aguero 'made a meal of it', but it was a penalty.

NBC probably called it right that from where the ref is positioned it actually looks like Inler gets his foot to the ball with the angle his foot goes in and where the ball ends up, hence the corner. He probably also felt it'd be unfair to award it because it was Inler and I think it'd be unfair to punish Leicester for making the mistake of signing him, playing him, paying £5mill for him.

I mean, FUCK OFF, never a penalty, diving bastard....

That he gave the corner suggests that he didn't have a clue.

And watching BT now. They are clearly ignoring the first elbow.

What? That he gave a corner suggests he thought Inler got the ball. And if you watch a replay from his position it looks like that.

I had the rolling news channels on at the time and the BBC said nothing about the incident.

How deep does this conspiracy go?

They've changed the headline now... It was something about 'Leicester refuse to be kicked out of title race be nasty city' before.

So he didn't give the pen because he thought he got the ball when he didn't, and not because of Aguero's arms.

When did it change from 'there was contact, it was a penalty' to 'not enough contact'?

Anyway.

Daily Mail's take.

Seriously what the hell are you talking about? It's like you're having an argument in your head. It should be a pen, the ref thinks its a tackle from Inler. Where's this 'contact, not enough contact' argument coming from?
