We're scrappy as fuck. Southampton have had some good chances but Vardy should have punished Van Dijk for that backpass. Will be thanking Romeu for not going a goal down. Vardy should have just rolled it off for Mahrez though.

And then Romeu plays a poor one back for Slimani to run onto. At first I thought he's just gone down too easy there, but he gets a touch and Fonte doesn't touch the ball at all and just barges in. Another day, another ref!

Your chances have gone off the boil since hitting the post. We're still not playing decisively like last season. We try to force the quick ball when it's not on and we've played it around too much when you've sat in which has led to Morgan ending up with the ball and trying to run it forward, which is never a good sign.

Us because we played shit and didn't have a good day at the office and Southampton because we were shit and they didn't take advantage when they should have with the chances they created.

Good point for Southampton especially after their Europa League trip on Thursday, think if they can get another striker in over January they could be comfortably a top half side. Seems like the extra games may be taking their toll on Leicester this season, didn't expect another title challenge nor even a top 4 finish but thought they'd be doing better than bottom half.
