Let's Bring Back Essential Listening

So, to recap, these are the categories I'm going with at the moment unless anyone has any objections or ideas.

Electronic
Hip-Hop & Rap
Pop/R&B
Rock, Punk, Metal
Wildcard

I'll mix them up when I first start off, then repeat once I've done all five (or however many).

Anyone know if I can add a poll to a thread which is already going?

I'm up for this. I don't often listen to stuff that isn't Rock based so this sounds good. Could possibly add Blues/folk and reggae genres?

I'm open to adding more genres if they're wanted (particularly open to Folk, I need more Folk in my life that isn't accompanied by Metal), just thinking that if we have too many categories, it'll take too long for the cycle to go around. It'll be five weeks as it is.

I'm thinking I'll start by doing these five I've suggested, then maybe start a poll to see where to go from there. I definitely want this to be everyone's feature, and for everyone to have some input.

The thing with the CD Swap was that it was frustrating to run as a big organised feature, with people not bothering.

Better would be starting a Swap Thread and people organising swaps amongst themselves. I'd be well up for getting involved in that.

Or maybe just do it without the physical cd on Spotify etc.
