Morning, i am not too sure where to begin when talking about this game this weekend. The last two weeks have been a rollercoaster, though to be fair since Hearn stepped down as chairman and handed it over to the Italians, we knew it was going to be a rollercoaster from day 1. I never thought it would get this bad though. Our club has been involved in a tapping up scandal, i never thought that would happen at tiny london club in league 1. Both the club and manager have been doing it, Slade was talking to Cardiff while still in charge of us and the board were talking to other managers whilst Slade was in charge. So i reckon the FA will now get involved, which means we not get a new manager until this has been sorted. Also Slade had a release clause in his contract, which Cardiff will pay but our club want more as they feel Cardiff tapped him up.

So with all that in mind, Nugent is in charge for saturday's game with Dearden and Edwards as his assistants. Tomorrows game is going to be a very wierd atmosphere, also adding we still haven't won at home this season as well. At least nugent has been here before as he has been in temporary charge twice before hand. The question is will he play a Slade team or his own team and mix it up a bit to try and get himself the job instead of every other man we have been linked with. The list og managers and odds is quite long, there seems to be serious contenders and some outragious ones on there, here is the list of managers:
Ince, Mcdermott, Hughton, Dean Smith, Inglethorpe, Zola, Di Canio, Curbishley, Moyes, Hoddle, Wilkins, Coyle
I personally would love either Smith or Curbishley with some other ex players as coaches like Lockwood, Mackie and Inglethorpe helping out. But as our board is Italian, i think we will get Zola or someone we have never heard of or even the new Sporting director Milanese may have it as it was him who got the new players in our club over the summer.

So to Saturdays game, we should have a full squad apart from the long term injuries of Lisbie (Shoulder), Sawyer (Knee) and Legzdins (Finger). Though Cuthbert came off on tuesday night quite early with an injury, so he may be out as well. We played a sort of 2nd string team on tuesday in the cup which by the sounds of it Slade was not too bothered by it as he was already thinking of going to Cardiff.
I am hoping we play a team of: Woods; Omozusi, Baudry, Clarke, Lowry; McAnuff, James, Vincelot, Cox; Dagnall, Henderson The bench being: Grainger, Pitchard, Lee, Batt, Mooney, Bartley, Simpson
We need to attack from the off and close down quickly, have a fast tempo to the game. After these last two weeks, we need to win in front of our home fans to try to resove some of the unrest amoungst the fans at the club. So with that i hope the fans get behind Nugent and his staff and we can move on and try to get a win
My prediction is a 2-0 win with Cox and Dagnall scoring
