First meeting of both clubs since about 1983.

Another decent crowd here of 6k+ is expected, this will be probably be our highest so far this season.

Hopefully Jay Simpson is fit to start.

RefWatch; Ref for Orient v Wombles game (played 5 times between '79 & '84, W2, D3, most recent game being in the old D3 in Feb '84 - we dicked them 6-2 at Brisbane Road, one of the goals being 'a cracking Dean Thomas free kick') is Darren Handley, 38, a PE teacher from Bolton. Appointed FL ref last season after 6 years in Conference.

Has a very strong northern accent & quite a high pitched voice, impossible to really know what he's saying, he sounds like a bunny rabbit getting attacked with a chainsaw. The FA have instructed that an interpreter run after him when he's reffing us proper English speaking teams, and the linesmen are issued with special yellow & red semaphore flags to help players understand what the dribbling Northern inbred is trying to say. In an interview with the Bolton News (great newspaper to read if you want more reasons to never go to Bolton) he says his Dad 'encouraged him to become a ref'. Daddy issues eh? Saddest thing I've read all year. If my Dad gave me a choice between sucking off Pete Winkleman in my 'Ryan Hall' Bromley top, whilst getting vigorously fisted by Jeff Winter as I gently stroke Charles Koppel's hairy ballsack, while the 3 Man Commission hum Alanis Morissette songs in the background, or being a ref, I'd choose the former fucking every time. Your father hates you Handley.

Reffed us three times; twice in the Conference in '10 - the 2-0 win away to Altrincham (1Y) when Keds scored twice at the start of each half to send us top; the 2-0 away defeat to Kidderminster (3Y) & the 3-2 home loss to Stevenage last season (4Y). Reffed Orient twice in '14; the 3-1 loss away to Bradford (3Y & 1R), and the 3-1 home win v Port Vale (2Y & 1R). Hates the scum. Never reffed them. Hates them. Very low home win % - just 25%, lowest in league. In 26 games last season he gave 83Y & 8R - high.

Attacking stats; Wombles have 86 shots on target with 25 goals; O's 88 with 26. Fouls; Wombles have conceded 222, second highest in the league; O's 199, 6th highest. Dirty Stags are on 247, still leading the way.

AnagramWatch; Darren Handley = Anal Her End Dry. Randy Hand Leer.
Leyton Orient = Oily Teen Torn. Loon Rent Yeti.

Haven't got a ticket but will be going straight from college so hope I get in.
Feeling strangely optimistic about this one 1-2 away win. With Sammy Moore scoring for Leyton Orient

Usually we're good for a goal and usually create chances, but our defending from midfield at times is very poor.

We need Jay Simpson fit, hopefully Mathieu Baudry will be fit as well. Mvoto and Kpekawa have played ok at centre back in their two outings so far.

Ollie Palmer getting a very extended run in the team due to injuries, but never looks like scoring. Hopefully Marquis will be up front tomorrow, he looks a far better player there.

We will lose.

...And people chuckled when I said the Simpson is the best striker in the division at the start of the season! Wombles would be well advised to start doing what Plymouth's thugs did in the week and kick him off the pitch.

Marquis sent off. Another useless Millwall c*** to join the ever-longer list of useless Millwall c*** we've had to endure over the past decade.

Useless Hendon strikes again.

Strikers on the pitch at the start of the game: 3
Strikers on the pitch at the end of the game: 0

Please Wimbledon, please come and score. We won't put you under any pressure whatsoever, we promise.

The sending off changed the game, but our set up afterwards was appalling. We didn't retain the ball well at all and Wimbledon were always going to get one eventually with all the possession we had.

Marquis stupidly lost his head, he was having a good game as well I thought.

Palmer had to go off injured, which was a blow as he leads the line well in terms of work rate and chasing.

Wimbledon were very average I thought, played a similar direct style to ourselves.

The referee was poor, his decision at the end to book Cisak for time wasting then to allow the sub was appalling.

We are poor if we play akinfenwa. Better without him. We deserved a point at least. Please get rid of the beast in Jan.

he seems to have fallen down the pecking order, there are better younger legs in the squad, Azeez for one.

After 20 games we are averaging 1.4 points per game, keep that up and we would finish on 64-65 points. That was 9-10th last year. Happy not have a relegation threat over us.

Don't worry about that. We are going nowhere. Sadly not up but gladly not down.

If we had any attacking nous about us we'd have won that game at a canter. Sadly we don't and Neal Ardley will no doubt focus on the stats (possession and shots), while ignoring the fact the Orient keeper only had to make one save of note all afternoon.

Did he do a Hendon to him?
A much noted feature of his time with us when he was playing right-back for us and basically directing the ref!
