depression-related?

Gotta feel for the bloke. Hope he makes it through OK.

Good luck to the bloke, I hope it's nothing mental health related once again.

Such a shame if it is a reoccurrence of his previous issues. Hope he gets the help he needs.

Terrible news for the guy, whatever the situation.

On the pitch, we've gone from relegation to mid-table fodder during his short time, and I'm grateful for it. Best of luck, Lingy.

Really, really sad news when it looked like he was excited to be back working. At least he did give it another try and helped Swindon to move out of the relegation zone. I imagine that will be it for him in management, but hopefully he can get back to his soccer school and radio commentaries and an enjoyable life.

Gutted to hear about this, really like Martin Ling and wanted him as our manager for a fair time this season before he went to Swindon.

Hope he gets the help he needs.

Sad news, I really hope like many others that Ling can find some happiness somewhere.

Bad for the club as he was doing okay but obviously the more concerning issue is Lingy himself. Hope he gets whatever help he needs.

As for our next appointment, who knows. Can see it dragging out for a few weeks as our Assistant Manager Luke Williams has never been keen, didn't fancy even being caretaker manager once Cooper left.

We have improved since Ling arrived so this news throws our season into uncertainty again. Slightly worrying even in this division of dross.

This is when football fans unite. we all wind others up , we hate such and such, what a bunch of twats etc etc. myself included. something like this puts it all in perspective. good luck to the bloke and his loved ones. and fair play in facing his problems head on. gave it a go and Swindon seemed on the up. good luck Martin

Seems like a nice bloke whenever I have heard him on TV or the radio. Hope he recovers soon. He may find it tough to get another job in football, but I hope he has enough money to live off and enjoy an early retirement.

Poor bastard, hope things improve. Maybe can make a name for himself in the media, much more relaxed environment.

Sad to see him in the state he is in, he may not manage again now. He has his coaching school and is quite popular in the press.

Wish him well.

Absolutely gutted for him. Met him a number of times and he is a fantastic bloke. I'm sure the LMA will be ensuring he gets the best treatment.

Poor mental health is just about the worst thing on earth. Officially the biggest killer of men under 40 in this country - don't bottle it up, chaps.
