Opposing the pedestrianisation of Norwich city centre!!!!
This isn't a Liverpool forum.

It's the Premier League forum and the last time I looked they were a PL club. I'd have posted this regardless of who the club was. I might PM Spear or Jon Toddler, they're always on RAWK and might know summat about this.

Maybe it's because it is cringe worthy beyond belief, it's 2015 not 1973.

The club have obviously decided that banners such as ' Lovren walks on water' and ' King Brendan of Liverpudlia' is pathetic and highly embarrassing.

Just another way to clamp down on supporter expression and force them them out.

What's the problem with registering? Seems the fans are crying over something very small, it's hardly red tape.

It seems petty that the club is forcing them to register and get accreditation when after all these years there doesn't seem to have been a problem.

What's wrong with filling out a form and taking responsibility for your flag? It might be a safety issue.

You need a fire certificate to get flags in at Chelsea.

They can register to see who takes in what flag. If someone tries to take in one they consider undesirable...

There have been flags in the Kop that have been 'undesirable' before which I'm sure they don't want in.

You've been hoodwinked for the banner was not for sale and therefore not subject to the trades description act

It's being reported by The Mirror that this has come about due to a disabled fan complaining about a flag obstructing his view during the game. So much for the conspiracy.

Who said there was a conspiracy? If that's the reason then fair enough though, although wouldn't it have been easier just to get the stewards to make sure that doesn't happen?

MBR was hinting at overlord measures.

The report states the offending flag bearer is on trial for threatening and abusive behaviour towards the offended disabled fan. Looks like there was a complaint and it turned nasty. One ruining it for the rest.

It's a paper that employs lots of Liverpool fans and ex players to the footballing side of its business. Don't act all coy.

I've not seen this in it is what I mean. But it gets very little from the club compared to other papers, Anderson is one of the least reliable Liverpool journos. Fans & ex-players =/= reliable source.

Well that's well known amongst Liverpool fans. Joyce of the Express, Barrett of the Times, Bascombe at the Telegraph, King at the Mail & Hunter at the Guardian are the ones who get the most reliable info outside of the Echo. Joyce & Barrett in particular.
