Don't think so. Read an article that Liverpool will be doing the biggest mileage of the Premiership sides during their pre-season tour visiting Malaysia, Thailand and Australia.

Usually one or two fixtures on English soil are squeezed in, but this year seems to be an exception.

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
No one plays domestic friendlies anymore.

One day someone will weigh up that not carting around the world with all of the issues that has for athletes, and playing some local teams instead gives them enough of an edge early in the season to be worth more than the money from the games..

Liverpool are supposedly getting £10 mill to play in Oz; financially they have to play preseason games abroad to bring in revenue and increase their worldwide brand; or else they'd fall behind the other powerhouse clubs of Europe who do this.

They are not a powerhouse anymore the quicker you accept this the quicker people stop calling your fans deluded whoppers

Winning trophies is the final objective isn't it for most - if not all - clubs? And also if it was just all about trophies I wouldn't be following the Reds now would I as they have only won one trophy in 9 years (still much much better than mighty Everton though eh? :fish: ).

Sure I did, and not in '87 when a mate of mine started supporting Manoo. Such bitterness in your prose Johnny, tut tut.

Bet you thought you'd be enjoying a good, long, hearty laugh at your mate's expense at the time.
