Watched the first half flicking between this game and 2nd half of of the Rangers game so won't comment on that but I saw the 2nd half and Arsenal were the the pits. Totally unacceptable (for their fans) & inept performance. Perhaps it's just me but any time I see Arsenal games I am left bamboozled at Mesut Ozil. Lazy player who, imo, does heehaw constructive. I wouldn't have him near an Arsenal shirt. No attempts on target in an entire match....utter pish. Well played Liverpool!

I've watched Arsenal twice on tv this season and in both instances I think Ozil's name was mentioned by the commentator about 5 times over the 90 mins. He was almost anonymous in both contests.

Is this standard or did I just happen to witness 2 anomalies...?

Now Ward has looked alright in the admittedly few times I've seen him. Gotta be give a chance at some point surely.
In slight defence of Karius, Matip has made a habit of abysmal backpasses while he's in goal, and that started in preseason.

Aye there just doesn't seem to be communication between the two of them.

Ward really impressed in the Atletico game, and with him not going back out on loan again this season suggests to me he is going to be given chances.
