Their record against the top eight or so is absolutely piss poor. I don't know how much of that is tactical but I put a fair bit of it down to motivation - the sides in and around them always just seem to want it more. Aside from Hart, Kompany (when he's fit) and Fernandinho no one really seems to give a fuck at that club. Pep can sort out any tactical issues but to bring about a shift in the attitude of nearly an entire squad won't be easy.

The prospect of Pep taking over a Europa League bound City is absolutely hilarious but I don't think it'll come down to that purely because the teams around them are all trying their best to drop as many points as possible too - except when they play City, it seems.
