So, onto this shit. Any faint nebulous hopes of a league title in a generation have eroded with this result. And tbh even if the record against the rest of the top six is the best, if you can't beat Sunderland and Swansea then you don't deserve to win it anyway.
Whats worrying is the lack of activity in this window when players are needing brought in. Klopp has said he won't bring in players unless they can add something to this side and push Liverpool on, and thats a laudable attitude and difficult to do in January; however, the side looks fatigued and a bit jaded, and someone decent coming in would freshen it up a bit imo.
Despite the defeat, Liverpool got lucky today as it could've been so much worse with City, Spurs and Man Utd drawing, and even if Arsenal win tomorrow, we'll still be right in the mix for the top four. However with the way the side is playing just now, even that aim is now looking treacherous.

Klopp lined up first half at home to Swansea like he did against United- 10 men behind the ball. And then at the end he throws the big centre half on and Liverpool start launching aimless long balls in his direction. Hypocrisy at its ugliest.

man was this performance and result was bad. football makes perfect sense until you bring this Liverpool team into the argument. we cant defend for shit. its been the same since Rodgers tbh. I have to put this one on klopp. he was moaning for 2 weeks about how matip is ready to play but cant because FIFA has to clear him. we all knew what Swansea would do and tbh if matip was playing I don't think we would have given away the first 2 goals so why not play matip. I'm not worried about lge titles because I never thought we would win it in the first place but to get top 4 we cant keep dropping points to scrub teams like Swansea. we got lucky that other results went for us so the damage was not as bad as it could be but we have to stop giving away goals like we do. kloppo has to sort out our defence
