It must be dawning on Pochettino by now that Spurs will never win the league unless he can be pragmatic at times, like Mourinho is.
Did he watch or show his players Liverpool's recent games, where they get frustrated if you defend deep against them and don't give their forwards any room to run in behind?
He just can't seem to bring himself to compromise so this result was no surprise and almost inevitable.
Great manager but will always have that flaw.

He's playing at CB every week because we haven't had Vertonghen or Toby fit at the same time. With them two fit he'd play alongside Wanyama.

You'd drop Dembele?

When both were fit Dembele moved up the pitch but played a bit deeper than Son has been in a more box to box roll. Son would drop to the bench.

Fair. I personally like a Dier/Dembele combo. If Son isn't going to cut it and Lamela's issues continue, Spurs need to be in the market for a good winger/AM
