You only have to look at some of the Dortmund showings of appreciation for the team/Klopp in previous years to see why he wants to get Anfield rocking. Incredible at times.
Unfortunately I think there's a huge correlation between the ticket prices and the atmosphere. It's becoming the same around the country. Can foreign fans be blamed? I'm not so sure, given how dedicated some of them are watching English football abroad (I'll dig up a great article in a minute). Can Klopp ever recreate that German atmosphere in England? Don't think so.
It's great its reaching a wider audience, but at the expense of affordable ticket prices and an atmosphere? I think there's a sense of entitlement in a PL crowd, a need for entertainment.
It's a culture issue as well, the foreign fans get into the game more these days than the Brits who if the game isn't upto much rather than back the team they'll play on their phones or bog off early.
