The only domestic cup that is worth winning, Blackburn could cause a stir but I think Liverpool will respect BRFC by playing a strong team and seeing the job done without any need for replays.

2-1 Liverpool to score first and last.

Going to go for 3 - 1 Liverpool. I wonder if Gerrard will feature.

Either 2-1 Blackburn or 4-0 Liverpool. No middle ground.

I hope we play our best team. We have about a week break after this game.

I think Rodgers will. He'll want the best possible chance of getting to the semi's.

Strong Liverpool team aside from Skrtel, Johnson and possibly Lovren, I've not seen Lovren play for a while so perhaps he's improved. They should win quite comfortably.

Looks like Skrtel is coming off - Kolo on in his place.

They're being seriously careful with him. Almost like they're worried he might have broken his neck or something.

Taking a long time to get off. Neck injury?

He looked OK as he came off in the end, acknowledging the applause from the crowd.

His actions as he was being taken off made it seem like he wanted to carry on!

Are Blackburn fans seriously singing "if you've won the league stand up"? What right do they have to say that? 1992 was just a name change. England's first division was of a high level before that. Just because the name was changed doesn't erase history.

That goes to all you glory mongs as well. Football's been around before 1992.

I'm sure they're being entirely serious :fl:

Right decision with the offside - handball by Gestede?

Bit strange that goal. I would say it should have counted because Gestede got the last touch there. If not, handball at least. Refs are only human though so I wouldn't say it would be controversial.

Take johnson off pls.
Yeah my spirit sank when I flicked the match on and saw him playing.

A bit patchy the performance so far, and Blackburn are having a good go. Should be a good second half.

It's looking like Coutinho has decided to subtract goals from his game.

It was the correct decision. Wasn't deliberate handball (exactly the same as Sterling 10 mins earlier) and Toure was offside.

Oh well replay it is, I wonder if there will be more than 200 Blackburn fans at that game?
