Surely Rodgers will rest the likes of Sturridge and Coutinho, keeping in mind the derby. Don't really know anything about Sion, but looking at our current form it should be a close game. Anything less than 3 points is a disgrace.

I think it will be a close game but I think Liverpool will edge it by the odd goal. I also think players will probably be rested for the derby so it'll give some of the younger lads or those needing game time a chance.

One thing for sure we won't disgrace ourselves like Arsenal and Chelsea have this week. Having said that I expect us to field youngsters like the away match against Bordeaux. Maybe stronger bench since there is no travel involved.

Good goal that, nice play in from Origi for Lallana to finish.

Bah pity Ings strayed there, would've been another nice goal.

Yet another shambolic display by Rodgers and the team, no game plan at all and no plan B either.
Just leave already.

On the contrary, they are playing some nice stuff going forward with a young inexperienced team; its been fine so far.

I'm not watching but I have to say snortingfrogs' version of events sounds infinitely more likely.

Liverpool have looked very good at times going forward and they really should have scored a few more goals. Hopefully they are saving most of them for Everton.

Slightly better display from the players in the second half but it's still without any substance or anything even resembling anything dangerous.

Origi through again and doesn't do the business.

Going to be one of those nights, plenty of good chances created, just poor finishing.

fuck off Rodgers you useless balloon
And how is this the managers fault? They created a tonne of chances, but the international forwards they have in Ings, Coutinho, Origi and Lallana didn't put their good chances away.

Couldn't catch the game but 2nd in the table, Rodger's closer to getting sacked.

This is very interesting indeed.

All set up for the unwashed to smash us in the derby on Sunday and put a run together whilst keeping Brenda in a job.
