I do understand the reason for locking them most of the time, but most of the time these threads aren't about one of the most important nights in English football.

Please tell me that the Croatia v England thread will be reopened before Wednesday evening?

Threads seem to be locked quite a lot without explanation. It's very poor on the part of the person/people doing it.

Is moderating not a thing anymore? Then again, that's probably a daft question seeing as one of the main culprits for detailing the thread is actually a mod!
