Forgot about Rankine's goal against Birmingham in the PO Semi Final at Deepdale. Absolute mayhem.

Yeah your bang on the mark about everything, Fabregas debut match as a 16 year old and it was Darren Byfield who headed in stoppage time for our goal, Mike Pollitt who was our keeper got sent off for handling the ball outside the box in extra time and the penalty shootout went past the whole team taking one each before Chris Swailes missing his penalty 2nd time around before Sylvan Wiltord slotted in the decisive penalty.
If I remember right arsenal took their penalties first, and wiltord missed his first one, I remember thinking you were going to go through. I was in the end behind the penalties and even though I was less interested than almost anyone else there you can't help but join in with the celebrations

Dolman was physically shaking after Roberts' winner. Would've been pretty scary had I any idea what planet I was on

JET's goal against the Gas in the Eastend was something as well. One of those moments you completely blank out and turn round a minute later wondering how the hell you ended up 10 rows from where you were stood
Dolman was shaking against rovers too

Unreal atmosphere that night, still probably my favourite game, ever.

Being 2-0 down at the Sty in the promotion season before scoring two in the last 8 minutes, when Madine netted the leveller it went nuts, had Rob Jones scored the winner I assume I'd have been buried in the cemetery right now.

A single unitary authority for urban Dorset
Despite recent years, the goal I have most lost the plot to over the years remains late Feb 2009 away at Dagenham & Redbridge. 2nd bottom of the entire football league, 700 or so of us huddle together on the open terrace away end there (before it was redeveloped) watching a turgid game of football, and seeing scores elsewhere cut us further adrift from safety, pretty bloody depressing.

Late on scores elsewhere had swung the other way...and then in the 90th minute the ball gets hooooofed up pitch. Non league journeyman midfielder Mark Molesley picks it up on the right, cuts inside onto his left boot and arrows a speculative shot into the bottom corner!

I ran around that terrace with everyone else for several minutes just screaming. By the time we'd finished going mental, we turned around to find the ground had emptied, and the stewards wanted to lock up.

Over the years I have managed to thump my mates round the head various times, fallen over a few times, all that good stuff.

Absolutely loads over the years, especially on the old Town End in the 90's. Going crackers at being 4-0 up at home to someone like Mansfield was the norm back then. You'd get a gentle ripple of applause nowadays.

Burnley away '00 (0-3)
Wigan away '00 (0-1)
Burnley at home in '02, when both sets of fans were having pitch invasion competitions after every goal.

One obvious recent one that stands out though, is Blackpool at home in 2013.

It was all a blur, literally. I kind of blanked out, but random faces would appear inches from mine, contorted with delight, pulling me all over the gaff.

I was on the Invincibles stand, which isn't very big, but I was stood near the top, and finished up with slightly ripped shorts and blood trickling down my shin, sat on my ass right at the very bottom of the stand.

I had a lit cig in my gob when we scored as well (couldn't hack the tension).....fuck knows where that ended up haha.

Happy days.

That was absolutely quality, still remember it vividly even though I was only 5!

Bit left field but I went mental at Wade Elliott's winner against MK last season, largely left over anger at how he'd gifted them the equaliser seconds before.

Brooker's last gasp winner at home to Norwich in the playoff final season - the moment we thought we were actually going to do it.

Bolasie's winner in a do-or-die relegation scrap against Coventry in 2012. Literally the only thing he ever did for us but what timing it was. Made even sweeter by the fact my best mate's a Cov fan. We'd made an agreement beforehand not to give each other shit during and after cos whoever lost was basically down and we couldn't face it. But he sent off a stream of texts when they took the lead so I let him have it.

Still like bringing that one up every so often :)

Without picking an obvious one, remember a last miniute winner against Norwich in our first season back at this level, some reason that sticks in the mind.
