That was low quality stuff indeed from Arsenal. City's defence was there for the taking in that first half and Arsenal didn't take advantage of that.

Nothing more than our performance deserved. Complete lack of control from the midfield until Elneny came on. Fullbacks were poor, especially Monreal, criminal move to let Sterling inside. Only Sanchez comes out with any real credit who busts a lung every match only to see his teammates wonder about aimlessly.

I wonder if us being linked with Draxler again is to take some of the weight off Ozil. He's looked gassed the last few games and never gets a rest from Wenger.

Ridiculous that we've got from top of the league to 9 points off in just over a week but that's Arsenal. Our only hope is that things can change just as quick and Chelsea are an injury from Costa away from slowing down but even then I wouldn't trust us to not fuck it up.

I think I feel basically the same as last year. Wenger's time is up, but he'll be hard to replace with who is available. When I see performances like this, which we see a lot this time of year, I always feel he is too soft on the players. Players like playing for Wenger because he gives them freedom, but right now they are not repaying his faith besides Sanchez, and the freedom given to Özil and our wingers is costing us in the midfield.

Very frustrating but at least I've escaped the continent this year to avoid the inevitable fallout
