Chelsea looking low on confidence, a drop off in form we've seen before in recent seasons. Citeh, on the other hand, look absolutely bursting with confidence and success. The only danger to them is themselves, if they think they have this game in the bag before kick off Chelsea are capable of catching them out. Don't think that is going to happen though.

Have to confess the game was so dull I got distracted with looking for Tottenham emojis, it was that kind of game. Some games are better watched on MOTD so you don't feel like you've aged 10 years since kick off. Happy enough with the result, keeps Chelsea at arms length, we play them at Stamford Bridge in April and frankly I think we owe them one after the result at Wembley early season. Conte bound to move on at the end of the season, that is the Chelsea way. Chelsea will reset and no doubt challenge again next season, but this one looks like it is petering out...

How does that even happen

Like what chain of events does it require for a group of players to give so few fucks that they're just standing there, 1-0 down, as if waiting to be subbed.

It's not as if a point was particularly appealing, you would have still been 4 points behind 4th with a much worse goal difference. Far better to go for the win with an increased possibility of conceding another goal or two if you lost than that turgid, embarrassing shit you served up. We showed that if you take the game to City with the right tactics the cracks in their defence can be exploited.

I'm not even sure it's Conte, like who in their right mind says "... and if he's just standing there, showing you the ball, not three feet away, stand back and do nothing. And the rest of you, don't do any marking".

There have been rumblings about some of the players being unhappy with the workload Conte puts them through in training, I wouldn't be surprised if a number of them would rather see him sacked than play for him.
