As an aside - I was once chasing a bouncing ball down a hill in a car and smashed straight into an innocent bystander, killing them stone dead. I had my eye on the ball, though, and Gary Neville said that I didn't mean it. Phew.

it doesn't matter if Mane "only had eyes for the ball", the law of serious foul play is black and white. The ref had no choice.

Not a red imo. Yellow for sure for a "dangerous" play but keeper did come charging at Mane too. Would have been a yellow if it wasn't for city players surrounding the refs.

CIty's attacking options really are unbelievable.

That's a clear a red as you'll see. Karate kicking someone in the head studs first is shocking, Mane knew the keeper was coming out and should not have gone in with a foot raised. Just hope the keeper hasn't fractured his skull, looks like he's got him on the cheek, which is very lucky for Ederson.

He has no right whatsoever to go into a challenge with a foot raised when it was clear the opponent was going for the same ball. If Mane jumps head first into the challenge then it's different story a cowards challenge and very dangerous.

As expected after the red. Klopp didn't help things with our balls out attacking when 3-0 down and with 10 men on the pitch. We were always going to lose after Mane went off, but it would have been nice to at least attempt to keep our goal difference respectable.
Still, City and Arsenal out the way with 3 points and a -1 GD could have been worse. Yes, I'm scraping the barrel for positives.
