Not even City fans are arsed. It's the Boooooefa CL

I'm sure the players are interested even if their fans don't want to get behind them.

Judging by the amount of blue seats you can see at the Etihad during every Booefa CL fixture I don't think they've ever been arsed about it.

Never have been really. I think most of them only want to progress so they can boo the 'anthem' again.

By that logic they don't give a toss about the league or any of the cups either.

Nice from Sterling to make it 3-2. Good to see Bony making a good contribution, too.

It's quite cute, because it's pretty much all you've got now....

I actually thought you had managed to resist the urge to reply to that as well.

Shame.

I took the piss out of you. Why is that a 'win' in the Trolliverse?

Pretty good night for City in the end - top the group and see their rivals go out.

Why do you always think me taking the piss out of your bitterness and predictability is about winning, losing and trolling?

I just find you funny and like to make myself laugh, that's all.

It isn't quite as sophisticated as "mickeytaking rags" as you once put it, but I get a laugh out of it and you are an all-too-willing participant so what's the harm, friend?

OK.

Why am I bitter? Why do you think I give a shiny shite about attendances. It's the last refuge of a fan of a club with history, but precious little future.

Maybe the fact you're so involved in this discussion goes a long way to explaining how former FL Macc Town managed to only just scrape 4 figures for a top 10 clash this evening?

Anyway, 40k+ for a dead rubber tie, at what, 45 quid a pop? That's not really much of a stick to beat someone with.

You do make me laugh a lot, yes. If you had any idea as to why you'd make one hell of a successful self-deprecating comedian.

Why are you bitter? - I have no idea, I have always found it a little surreal myself.

Why do I think you give a "shiny shite" about attendances? - Because you always get drawn into an argument with posters who point out the numerous empty seats that are visible at each and every Manchester City game. If you really don't care it shouldn't be too much of a problem to ignore those that bring it up.

I was at this game tonight. A fair number of German fans in the home end.

I caught the highlights, Sterling looked like he had an excellent game again.
