Has this been confirmed? If so I say 'poor sportsmanship.' You can beat teams without kicking the football as a way to curse at your demolished opponent, you know. No need for it.
It's a shame that Dele Alli has this nasty streak in him. He's a good player who should stick to concentrating on his play. He'd be even better then. His foul on de Bruyne was not only unnecessary and potentially injurious, it was a cheap shot. Dirty, cheap and nasty.
It's unworthy of you, Dele. Cut it out.
And just as a matter of personal opinion, I've never gone for this shtick that "If you take the nasty streak away from (whoever) it would lessen him as a player." or: "He needs that side of his game to be competitive." I just don't believe that. Actually, I think quite the opposite would apply.
Again, I'll admit I was wrong about City at the start of the season. They've become imperious and ruthless..... in the right kind of way.
Crystal Palace next week, isn't it..? Bearing in mind Palace's recent improvement it should be quite an intriguing game. We'll get a yardstick on how much Palace really are improving.
Alli's should have been a red, but a yellow is fair for Kane's. Alli's was similar to Pogba's at Arsenal, and Bellerin and De Bruyne are both lucky not to have been seriously injured. Kane's was a bad tackle, but there wasn't much momentum behind it so the potential for it to do any lasting damage is small.
