Anybody that doesn't think the challenge against Diaz wasn't worthy of further punishment needs their heads testing.

By the same yard stick I thought Silva was lucky to get away with one too.

The problem really is the whole ‘of you get booked it can’t be looked at again’ thing. It gives refs a nice get out by booking players to play it safe and also has a two tier effect on players. You can ‘get away with it’ by being caught on the day and be punished for the ref missing the foul.

Doesn’t seem right.
